Patrick Byre CEO of Overstock and Tzero is bringing in the heat.
Tzero is a blockchain, with a SEC registered brokerage.
If pension funds use Tzero as their brokerage, Tzero will do all of the work that a regular brokerage does. Except when Tzero lends out stocks and earns interest from shortsellers, Tzero will use DLR on FLO blockchain.
Tzero will pay a share of this interest to actual owners of stocks that are using Tzero as their brokerage.
The times of brokerages making free money off of all of their clienteles stock is over.
Do you really think that FLO blockchain will sit at $3million marketcap while Tzero/Overstock manages billions and potentially trillions of dollars worth of stocks and uses FLO as the base layer blockchain that registers all of the transactions?
Banks and brokerages are going to have no choice. Their clients will FLEE their services and go to ones like Tzero that actually allow the real owner of the stock to earn income that is generated by lending out the stock.
The problem isn't derivatives. The problem is that banks and brokerages are keeping all of the profit that they make from lending out stocks that aren't theirs.
Tzero will allow regular owners of stocks (like you and me) to get free interest (up to 8% a year!) on all of the stocks we own by lending them out to short sellers.
This is revolutionary and will be implemented on top of the FLO blockchain as a base layer. This chain is currently worth less than $3 million. MILLION not billion. Yes I said that right. If this thing 30x it is still less than $100million.
Oh,and by the way, If you think that the next bull run will pump your alt coins like XRP, TRON, BAT,ZRX, ADA that are sitting in the hundreds of millions or billions in market capitalizations, prepare to be FUBAR'd
There are a ton of blockchains with high potential that are sitting under 10M in market cap because of the recent bitcoin bear run. Those will be the ones who will replace most of the shit you see in the top 200
Interesting shill user. You got me looking at least. The FLO roadmap doesn't really indicate any major goals that they are shooting for aside from website updates and meta projects
Maybe you can expand on it? Tell me more about the purpose of FLO. Whats their angle? Also, I don't see any info about the devs. Who are they? Where are they from? Credentials?

$FLO (or Florincoin), one of the most undervalued blockchains in the space. One of the original 10 coins launched back in 2013 without an ICO or a premine and has partnerships with:
Caltech (California Institute of Technology) - has added its Electron Tomography DataBase to FLO Blockchain and IPFS Overstock's tZERO project is storing proofs of trades on the FLO Blockchain Overstock's Medici Land Ventures is using the FLO Blockchain to record property rights in a decentralized way. Medici Land Ventures just had a partnership with the World Bank announced the other day Open Index Protocol is a standard for defining, publishing, indexing, timestamping, monetizing, sharing and claiming ownership of any digital content on the FLO blockchain
You can find some info about the dApps at: flo.cash/dapps.html
There's also alexandria.io, a project that is aiming at replacing Youtube by storing data in IPFS and by using the FLO blockchain for building the index.
One of the head developers is Joseph Fiscella, an original bitcoin core dev. Other developers include Tron Black (creator of Ravencoin) and all of the medici devs who helped pump raven to insane heights.
The IPFS aspect is actually what is selling me on this coin right now, I'm hoping to base my folio around web 3.0 projects simply for the fact that I (and pretty much everyone everywhere) knows IPFS is the future one way or another. I'm drawn particularly to SHIFT due to its cheap price/supply ratio and its WORKING PRODUCT (which none of the other IPFS coins have AFAIK)
FLO is definitely another consideration. I like the relatively low supply...
By the way, this is Tim Berners Lee (the father of the internet) showing his appreciation for Alexandria.io, which was built on top of the FLO Blockchain and IPFS
