Even with Oyster/PRL which had a pretty clear-cut exit scam, you still have some scammed, jaded "investors" trying to jump-start a dead project. They just will not believe the evidence that they've been screwed.
Bitconnect even had people feeling the same way afterwards. I think you have to realize when you've been fucked over, bamboozled, tricked, and just cut your losses and move on.
