Just announced on its roadmap page, BSV will have 2GB blocks this July and an unlimited blocksize next February. It was previously expected BSV would only upgrade to 512mb later this year. However, thanks to the recent succes and the 128mb cap getting reached with organic use (thanks to sites such as the early Instagram competitor site bitstagram.bitdb.network

It will be plenty decentralized at scale. You only need enough decentralization to prevent a central point of network failure or subversion.
Whether you have 17.000 nodes or 1.700.000 nodes spread out in 50 different countries, is kind of irrelevant, it's impossible for a single entity to subvert or destroy the network.
