/cng/ - Chainlink node general

In /cng/ we discuss node, api's, hardware, cloud computing services, and anything else related to node operations

Chainlink is a flop rofl.

.25 cents is inevitable

>Chainlink is a flop because people keep falling for larp dates on an anime board
what does this have to do with running a node user?

>has a use

About 20 cryptos out of 2000 on cmc have this going for them

>About 20 cryptos out of 2000 on cmc have this going for them
is not even 20, probably. i'd say in no particular order:

1. btc
2. eth
3. link
4. xmr
5. litecoin (maybe)
6. binance coin
7. xrp (maybe)
8. tether
9. bat
10. bsv (LOL)

honestly would only add one other to that and that'd be EOS, but it doesnt even have a "use" yet so even that is not entirely certain.

You should just use that Pepe chainmail for these generals he was the best picture you made

What about holo? Is it a scam pajeet coin or not?

I have a lot to choose from

it isnt currently being used for anything so it doesnt make the list. it might be ok in the future, i dont have an opinion as i'm not and will never be investd in it. it has a team behind it, so that's one positive which many/most other coins cant say about themsleves.

Brainlet question, how much Solidity should I learn to run a node?

its probably one of the best coins besides link out there. easily one of the best options for payments aswell as its asset backed which is a novel in crypto

>correction:
1. LINK
2. BTC
3. ETH
4. ...

so has anyone figured out how to use these bridges that linkpool made?
I have it downloaded and added to path.
I can run their example command
but I'm not really sure what to do after that

WE ARE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF POSITIVE THOUGHT! ESPECIALLY COLLECTIVE POSITIVE THOUGHT!

THIS SHIT IS GOING TO REACH $1,000 EASILY!
HOLD THAT THOUGHT AND VISUALIZE IT IN YOUR MIND EVERYDAY AS OFTEN AS POSSIBLE STARTING NOW AND IT WILL MANIFEST INTO REALITY. DO IT! I'M NOT JOKING!

VISUALIZE AS OFTEN AND AS DETAILED AS POSSIBLE!

WHEN MAINNET
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

the longer it takes the more time we have to get familiar with running a node
we should have been doing this the day testnet went live

bump

you are a MANIAC!

The doc on how to run a node mentions something about three seashells, what do they do?

>he doesnt know how to use the sea shells

another bump for me and the two other anons interested in running a node

This. Why do we procrastinate? Probably would be good to learn Solidity and brush up on JSON too. I COULD HAVE STARTED THIS MONTHS AGO.

Anyways, anyone know how to monitor the node once it's running and you've re-logged in?

get on my level

docker container attach containerName I believe.

I've never used docker before... is your user really root?

Me either. I think it's just "root" in the container. I'm logged into Ubuntu under a user account.

Much more accurate desu

Thanks

i think the silence in this thread speaks loudly of the future of chainlink

I'm working on my node bros. Don't worry, I'm paying attention.
