None of my friends will ever own crypto

i want them to /make it/
but they won't

I've occasionally mentioned news, or pointed out crypto ads/ATMs in public to my friends. Never mention what I hold or how much. Only two types of people have approached me: normies trying to buy the top and then getting extremely confused when I tell them why that's a bad idea. or techies genuinely interested in the tech but have huge investment anxiety.

One time I did meet a dude on the bus while I was wearing a neo hoodie. He said he liked it because he could collect the gas everyday kind of like a pokemon game. and fuck you the hoodie was a free gift and this was before the crash so the poor guy probably lost everything.

Usually gotta tell people like 5 times over the course of a few months before they finally make moves. So far I've slowly got 3 family members and 4 friends to hop on. Glad they're finally taking initiative, but it was much comfier when it was just me and one buddy hashing out breadcrumbs. Make sure to hammer home something along the lines of "working for money is important but you're still young and need to take a few risks to land a true moonshot, it's your only hope," then show charts where you're already up 100s of % on certain buys kek

Every single person has said to me that it's dead the last few months and I've said to them that the fact they are saying it is a buy signal. Yet no one listens

Also the "you dont have to give a shit/understand it/follow news, just fucking buy and hold or you'll regret it" template for the people you still want to make it but don't want to BS with them about it as a hobby.

It's not worth trying to persuade people - I've give my advice (buy) to a handful of selected close friends, and reactions have been strongly binary:

> no way it's dead they said it would go to 100k and instead it crashed, I heard it got hacked anyway, not touching that shit

> lol ok I'll put a few grand in and see. Reckon it will go mental again some time?

I got in first in 2013 and I guess I'm in the second camp, it's all about risk tolerance, I suppose. I naturally want to make risky investments but a lot of people don't, fair play to them.

It's not worth pressuring people, though. Just make your recommendation and leave it.

>make it
>crypto

You're looking at it the wrong way. Your friends want YOU to make it. Follow them.

The golden bullrun is just for you user.

Do it stealth this time.

The golden bullrun will never happen unless everyone convinces 10 fools to throw away their fiat for tokens

Too bad your friends are morons. Mine are all engineers. So far I convinced 3 friends, two sisters, an aunt, my wife and almost even my father and grandma.

Even my smart friends were hur dur, this might go to zero, you are making a bet. Then you counter with of course I'm making a risky bet, but there's no reward when there's no risk. Then you show all news about bank changing instances over crypto, like JPmorgan, etc. Show them the bews about nasdaq and so on. Then you show charts of btc repeating itself.

I think some people are waking up to the fact that it's not going away

You haven't lost a cent until you've pressed the "sell" button. That Chad will unironically be drowning in Chinese pussy and counterfeit lambos one day. On purpose.

Out of the goodness of my heart I've been telling people to invest in crypto. Just waiting for it to backfire one day if and when it ever goes up.

Probably smarter to just keep it to yourself. Nobody listens anyway.

I stopped talking about crypto to almost everyone. But it's all I do so now I have nothing to talk about.

I have that bad habit too. I need to watch myself when I talk about crypto. What if it goes back up to 20k? I feel like it's stupid, might invite trouble down the line, and the only people who would invest in crypto are those who know about it already.

Sometimes your natural urge to help others is actually a bad instinct you have to consciously fight back. It can come back to hurt you. Most people are fucking toxic worms who won't take your advice, but they'll damn sure remember you hold crypto if some celebrity starts talking about it.

Just don't talk about it

So you convinced your entire family to buy into scam coins on the internet. You probably think of yourself as a hero, but you are in fact peak Nigeran prince defrauding the people closest to you of their hard earned money.

Yes, I have this bad habit too. People will see you as a literal lottery winner when btc gets back on the msm.

Look up how well lottery winners handle life when everyone they thought they knew changes completely and views them as an ATM.

New anons, don't broadcast yourself as an expert who can help. People cannot be assed to learn and stick to what they know. Or you will get the blame when they lose money

Yes they are not worth helping in the long run. I still talk about crypto too much. I need to keep my mouth shut.

jesus christ you retards are delusional

Get them to download Brave and they'll be using crypto soon enough.

I got 5k to invest? should I buy bitcoin now?

be greedy when everyone's fearful. Imagine how useful we'll be to the next group of normies that buys high and hold through the drop? We'll be there on Jow Forums to help them through the tough times

invest in stocks and crypto so when one tanks you don't feel like shit
