Paper wallets are just as good, make a few copies and stash them somewhere safe

i have a hardware wallet. Its so I dont have to input the keys into my computer

They're good, paper wallets are the cheap alternative but a bit more cumbersome.

Yes,I have my life savings on Binance and I am not worried in the slightest because CZ the all-seeing chink is there to guarantee no one will ever get a hold of it except me

What happens if your hardware wallet fails like flash drives are wont to do?

They're great, I keep most of my crypto on my trezor and have the seed phrases written down and stored in a bank safety deposit box so I can't get fucked over

Regarding binance, lets say you did hit the moon and make millions.

How would you deal with that daily transfer limit bs?

paper wallets are less secure unless they're generated on a computer that can't go online and never will go online, which considering the hassle and cost is worse than a hardware wallet

I mean, with BTC being 20 to 100k in the future, it would just be a matter of a month or two to withdraw everything if I hit it big, so not really a worry for me. Even if they did lower it to a fixed USD value (which they probably will), that'll just make it a bit longer. Don't really mind either way.

Except when a bank employee happens to see what's in your box and takes a picture of your seed phrase

kek’d, gooknance exit sca- i mean hack imminent

Wasted, CZ is the key for me to unlock a lifelong supply of tendies and nobody can convince me otherwise. I'm already too deluded and deep in it at this point, so theres no turning back.

Good luck user

You can request to increase daily limits on all large exchanges.

yes it serves the same function just as well, but a paper wallet means you have to also have a permanently offline computer and printer. hardware wallets are just more convenient. not a meme op.

i thought they would be hard to use but upon opening the box i found the words printed neatly on the card and a pin. setup was super simple

>not having atleast 21 btc on a hardware wallet

Do you understand how safe deposit boxes work? They don't have access without your key.

Hold up nigger. You bought a hardware wallet with the seed already printed on the card? Did you buy it off a sketchy third party chink supplier? Is this bait?

I personally keep all 500k of my link on binance so cz can use it to trade against all of you niggers. You kids have it too easy.

im not putting 21 btc on a hardwallet

Because duplicate keys are hard to make

They don't do that, and if they did my seed is in a sealed envelope so I would immediately know if someone tampered with it. Those roasties have no clue how to use this shit anyway

Y'all are retards. I just have all my keys saved in a big .txt file stored in a password-protected .dmg volume and saved on Dropbox. Also currently have a printed out copy but am thinking of burning it.

The biggest risks with all of your retard-level strategies are:

- printed out keys: they burn in a house fire; you forget where you put the piece of paper; or your piece of shit girlfriend steals them while you are taking a shit
- hardware wallets: they burn in a house fire; flash drive fails; stolen in burglary
- leaving on exchange: exchange goes bust and steals everything

ITT: anons don’t into hardware wallets lock the actual price

*keylogs you*

What the fuck is that and what is it doing?

>what are backups on paper?
>what are viruses

Anyone use Trust Wallet?

it locks the price on your bitcions so you don't lose value when the price drops

Use a bip38 paper wallet you brainlets

(and you don't gain value when it pumps)

you unlock them when we bull, i.e. 1 month ago

you don't need hardware wallet... just use USB stick instead its a waste of money

A hardware wallet isn’t a usb stick senpai it’s an air gap.

By the time you find your tampered envelope, the funds are already gone

They don't know what's in the envelope and everything is trackable on the blockchain so there's no way they would get away with it. You make a good point though I might get a second box and split my keys

but what are the chances that my shit gets stolen if i printed the wallet online from bitadress?

Got 10 btc locked in at 17k. So comfy

Bought a ledger two years back... Works well. There's multiple ways of storing, but I just wanted to see how it worked to be honest. Pretty simple and neat.

Paper wallets are not as good. If someone knows your private key then your coins are gone. You can't move my coins unless you have access to my keys and my Ledger, too.

>bank safety deposit box

what is even the point of crypto anyway

>what is a mnemonic recovery phrase.
the ledger could get thrown off a cliff into the sea and you could get your shit back if you have the mnemonic phrase

Hardware wallets aren't a meme. They keep your seed words off of your potentially infected porn-computer entirely, and you can easily restore no matter what happens to the actual device. If you aren't a brainlet there is 0% chance of getting your funds compromised.

Write the seed words inside of a shitty book and put it on your shelf. Then you copy it into a second book at granny's as a backup.

Why would I not keep my seed phrase somewhere entirely distinct from my wallet itself?

Sounds good, until your place burns down and you go to granny's to retrieve your backup only to find out the old bitch has dementia and has thrown your seed-book out

I'm sorry, what? Are you meming me?

I have a hardware wallet and a software wallet (didn't airgap it when I created it) and I memorized the keys. What now brah?

holy fuck. have you not been locking in the price?

no fucking wonder people talk about getting liquidated. they just dont know

LMAO
people on this board really dont lock their btc price in. no wonder crypto is so easy

Similar to selling
