I was considering propane as well, but I'm more used to charcoal. Either is fine tho. I like propane for getting up to temperature very quickly and being able to fine-tune the temperature is also a big plus for cooking.
Tuesday morning
im actually a based freelancefag larping as wagekek. but after 7 years considering going back inhouse. you think I make a mistake?
Yeah. Depends what you want too cook I guess. And some like the taste more and the whole heating up process.
Try to stay as free as you can. You can also do both at the same time but some companies hate that of course. I went from free to wage for a while and felt trapped. Was even allowed to do stuff on the side. The worst part of waging actually were the other colleagues. The work was fine. I can not be bothered with stories of kids, dogs and relationships stuff 8 hours a day and then taking the heat from the CEO because all the other wagies do not get anything done and me as the expert should take responsibility for them without extra pay etc.. Office Cuckery is too much for me desu.. Better sty out of there fren.
I pretty much work only for this one client right now anyway. was at their office for a couple of days and it was chill as fuck. the boss smokes weed, they dont care when I come and go as long as I meet deadlines. the colleagues are all really nice and I actually like having people around me plus you get company benefits. I can even work on sideprojects if I want. they dont give a shit as long as I make them money and keep my deadlines. afraid it might be a trap but Im probably going for it. can always go back to freelancefagging but desu after 7 years of working from home it gets a bit old.
Benefits are a quite the red flag. Only money talks. If you want to have more people around you, you can rent a shared office or ask your current customer if you can come in more often. In the end you have to decide, but think about your finite time on this earth. You should get some "passive" income too and maybe get some extra contracts with other businesses. Don't be too depending on one customer. Having you as employee gives them way more power over you too. They also can legally steal your knowledge and hire someone cheap to maintain. They tried that with me 2 times. It is alway about money in the end fren.
how are benefits a red flag? the money is good Im on an exclusive contract with them and make more money with less work than when I was freelancefagging. so technically Im a contractor but only work for them. only difference would be I work from the office and have more access to resources, people, etc plus I get subsidized health insurance. not too worried about them replacing me, its a super niche field and they have problems finding competent people as it is.
I'll probably be in overtime by Wednesday at this rate
Gottagofast
Waiting on hiring decisions for other companies. Being in this office is hell. My lease is almost up so if I don't get one of the jobs in this interviewing batch I'll have to go apartment hunting so I can live in an area I don't want to live working a job I don't want to be at anymore.
no naughty websites wagies
"Benefits" cost the company nothing, they will always use them as leverage. Take money instead and buy your own snacks if you really need them. Don't sell your secrets for a Snickers and some nice words. If you are not an employee, don not act like one. You are basically at the same level as the CEO right now. Just think about it. There is no job security anymore.
