I opened a CDP on Maker, wasn’t super easy but not super hard. I basically borrowed money from a vending machine bank that could not reject the application. Only 10 DAI, eventually got liquidated but WGAF. I still have the DAI.

used IDEX once to buy more Holo cause I didn't get enough at ICO...that's about it

Yeah from what I can tell it seems like makerdao is about the only dapp people actually use, and even at that its kind of junky in my opinion, bad UX + system is not very good

It will get better. Blockchain is not meant for speed first, but reducing the need for trust (so, like, wtf EOS). In the future, there will be interface layers over the blockchain that improve ease of use. I’m an internet OG from the 1990s, believe me that shit was not easy to use. It is now though. Thus will happen with blockchain.

Im not saying dapps dont exist or are impossible to use, its just that i think most of them are useless and the ones that aren’t have shit UX

While a great idea on paper it’s not actually decentralized also ALOT of bots and manipulation there are also rumors of fake orders because of the auradao staking

If you have 10k auradao and drake you basically are the decentralized orderbook however people can fake orders this way it seems

Once more nodes are up and all services are truly decentralized then it would be great but at the end of the day this company runs it on servers that it owns and controls

2020: Augur goes on a rampage amidst US elections and the Olympics, not to mention Euro elections next month. Gonna get interesting. REP is a solid buy.

Depends on what she meant by #1, traditionally, unqualified, it would mean largest market cap, which has always been Bitcoin. But there are other measures by which ETH is #1, for example, in active development, there is far more activity in Ethereum.

There’s over 2M at stake on the network now. With a lot of these dApps, they will need higher Etheruem capacity as well as better UIs to reach full potential. OmiseGo can’t run it’s uncensorable payment platform on a 15tps chain, Augur has a fairly steep learning curve at present, but imagine when it’s just another app on your phone.

to put some of my cash from my savings in as DAI and get about 5.5% interest at the moment, pretty easy. Got about 12% for one week when the app just started. Made much more from that than I did in the bank
