this is exactly what i posted when i started in 2017. I still think it, and i don't send BTC anywhere anymore (I buy XLM and send that to exchanges), but i don't feel the need to post the obvious anymore.

Ethereum has plans to expand it's first layer to allow many more TPS, and further expand multiple times over with sharding. Beyond that there is many developers with their own spin on a sidechain for lightening the network load, but can still easily move back to the main chain for the decentralized security. Compare that to Lightning network, which seems to be BTC maximalist's hill to die on.

There are several better ways to move funds. Ethereum for example.
For moving across exchanges, low price & being common is the key, and the best is Tron (TRX) if available, next to Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Stellar.
