Superior Skycoin

The project you like is actually producing something, right? Something tangible that can't be easily erased? You're invested in a project that has permanence, right user? user?

whats that? skywire antenna?

ye

is skywire working yet?

the dish isnt even fucking concave lmao

lowkey skyminers is the most profitable way to mine.

>t. doesn't understand radio

The only project i'm still invested in and have some hopes for. The rest is pure and utter fucking shit.

Yes, devs are testing it. Antennas are probably shipping spring/summer.

isnt this supposed to be a directed dish for long range? This is literally a wifi antenna

Where's the consensus algorithm?

Both the motorized antenna in my original post and the bucket antenna here are directional antennas. The motorized one has a range of a few kilometers.

Not sure about the bucket, it's just an example.

Just look at those beautiful volume spikes as of late. We're about to moon hard.

user that looks like a literal highschool project.

That's actually the genius of it. It's designed to be cheap / simple enough to build from acrylic sheets and pvc pipes, generally off the shelf parts that you can get anywhere.

Recognize that these are toys and that the real work is in the software.

Any prototype starts of looking as a "highschool project", you dont put $1000000 into a prototype because you usually make more than one or a lot of changes to the one you are making, so its just cheap/basic equipment until they are ready for mass production which is when you make the actual first product, see if it works and then mass produce it

This looks unimaginably shitty.
College students at robot tournaments can make a better dish

its because it is a scam coin. what is on OPs video can be build by literal school children as a science project or some shit. anyone that falls for this scam is mentally challenged

>sophisticated meshnet transport software and hardware systems can by made by children

lol k

>meshnet transport hardware
A truck transporting a literal wire mesh is more sophisticated

LMAO you dumbfuck cultists

Whoa, good one.

Name me 10 coins better than Skycoin

Settle down little homey.

This user is spot on. I work in private tech/coms R&D and the fact that they even opted to focus on an newly designed, "automatic" directional antenna for terrestrial mesh networking shows they have no real vision for a working product. These types of initiatives are targeted toward people familiar with but not experienced in the field. In reality, a company seeking to develop a proprietary terrestrial network would focus on the underlying software, network protocols, RF hardware, spectrum allocations and performance first. But that doesn't look as cool as a high school level 3dof dish moving around with LEDs.

Good news friend, they've already done all those things. github.com/skycoin/skywire/wiki

You're welcome

You’re insufferable. This garbage means nothing. Enjoy your $0 bags in a few years.

Yep, a Linux based oob WDS system with their software on top. No mention of any low level networking/RF development whatsoever.

??? Are you retarded?

Nope, I actually know what I'm talking about from experience. Feel free to base your investment decisions on medium posts and YouTube videos of "cool satellite dishes" (years in development at that). You are are the prime target for such marketing. Goodbye.

kek skyshit is going to $0.1

not only this but all it does is move around fast, failing to lock onto an efficient signal. this is nothing but a high school science project 2bh, nb4 chinese mafia kidnaps me

Whats with the austim box?

The medium post and the video was mainly to give you an overview of what skywire is mr.bigshot.
You shouldnt expect someone to give you all the info on Jow Forums, and as you said yourself "Feel free to base your investment decisions on...". As for your "criticism"
>In reality, a company seeking to develop a proprietary terrestrial network would focus on the underlying software, network protocols, RF hardware, spectrum allocations and performance first.

Software - Skywire
Network protocol - MPLS
Radio - iirc will be using LoRA chips
You can join the telegram and talk with them yourself instead of spewing bullshit on here

cope

Ok, first of all that screenshot Convo REAKS of an amatuer understand of the technology and challenges facing their project. First he's talking about FSK then at the end he's saying they will use AM... Share that convo with an RF engineer for a good laugh from the mismashing of technical terms and gross understanding of power/licensing requirements.

>Software: Skywire
Lol, wow what more do you need!?

>Network Protocol: MPLS
Wow cutting edge

>Radio: LoRA
Basing the whole network on a low bandwidth tech (

And you'll notice in the telegram the answers are always "just" technical enough to satiate people without them knowing any better. Like selling a computer with "3 gigahertz of hard drive and 2 motherboards" to your grandmother.

What are the plans for the hardware? Holding potentially googolplexes of information in a single full node years in the future.
Is it 3D crystal computing and fractally encoded 8-logic truth tables coupled with wirelessly wired quantum tunneled state entanglement network propagation? Bandwidth needs to be exceptional.

Lmao how is legal to even broadcast with that? What power levels will be used? If it stays within international legal limits you're not getting very far.

Sigh once again you're acting like a retard.
"... we need... AM... But we can ALSO DO... low frequency shift keying"

>Software: Skywire
>Lol, wow what more do you need!?
?

>Network Protocol: MPLS
>Wow cutting edge
It is the best solution to any routing currently, do you have something better in mind? TCP/IP is garbage

>Radio: LoRA
>Basing the whole network on a low bandwidth tech (

you can do above 20km with 5ghz

You're just proving my point with your surface understand of the material (and your maturity). I'm not breaking down the points, you don't want to listen. Their marketing mgr would be salivating reading your posts.

If you don't believe me, post the project info to a radio enthusiast/engineering forum for more opinions. Just trying to save you from thinking you're smarter than you are.

You are fucking deluded and your money is gone

Not an argument.

All this projection. You're attempting to use the effect your describing. Just enough dismissive shitposting to sound like you know what you're talking about.

LoRa is for messaging and communicating basic information so that antennas can find each other. That's a separate device.

The current model for Skyminers pay themselves off in two years since they want people operating the network.

Let me guess, you dicked around with HAM in the 90's.

Time to update, grandpa.

Except I'm not asking for your money.

Lol yea and you'd fit right in with the folks over on 14.313

Now if you'll excuse me *tsh* *chkss*

Neither am I. Build one yourself, candy-ass. All that matters is adoption.
