I think the source of the nihilism is that most of those things don't become easy just because you have a lot of money. Most of the ones you mentioned are actually incredibly difficult regardless of how much money you have, and you're still stuck being you regardless. If you expect to have "won" at life in any meaningful way by making it, it's pretty nihilism inducing to realize that doing anything that seems worthwhile to you is as hard as it ever was. That's not to say it doesn't make a big difference. I have enough money not to have to work, but most of the stuff you mentioned remains way beyond my ability anyway.
