Retail apocalypse

> be 29yo middle class guy
> lived in a small town with about 20k people
> small downtown with lots of shops, owned by local people
> easter- christmas- etc. -events
> foodstand that sold waffles with hot cherrys in front of the biggest shop for toys in winter
> wasn't allowed to drive downtown on my own 'til I was 10 or something
> nevertheless drove there with my bike to buy another "Joe Freeman" - legoset (u probably know it as johnny thunder)
> lots of good memories...

Today none of the old stores exist anymore and most of the shops stay empty and thugs hang around there, bc no one else does...
Sure.. since buying everything online is way more comfortable, stationary sales isn't really needed anymore.
But there should be a lot of alternative biz-concepts that would be great to replace the old shops (other than an open outcry for cryptos).

Example: An old drugstore (closed in around 2005 and empty since then -> germans might know "Ihr Platz") got rebuild in 2017 and
now it includes 2 escape rooms. The people here like and it's tough to get a date for one of the rooms.
There have to be other possible usages for old, unused shops like this. I am open for renting one of the old stores (cheap af since
we aren't allowed to use them as flats), to start a small local business additionally to my online-incomes and wageslaving.
Sadly.. I don't have a good Idea, what I could start in there.

I'd want to cover the costs but it's not "to make money".. I just want to revive my city.

Any ideas / tipps / thoughts ?

Pic related - kinda looks like my city

I actually thought about that some years ago.. but in all honesty.. I'm too scared to just move away. I don't want to leave my family, my friends, the house I lived in my whole life behind me..

Plus I'm a wholesale merchant.. I think I won't find a job without speaking the native fluently.. for this topic I wished I learned a handicraft profession

>something something refugees
direct retail is ded, need to combine with meme experiences - know ppl (in Germunia) run game shops (spiel nights), ye olde style bars (mead and serving wenches, etc). - do OK. Lets see you got empty shop, fugees - what possible 'experience' could you sell.. 20k middle class town bit don't make it easier, but try asking estate agents if you can do one-offs in empties for free/practice first. Most tell you to fuck off, but you only need one to be amenable, that and an idea

Its the natural way of life OP. Things change. Things flow. They don't stand still like your memories.

nah.. I personally like amazon. Buy a lot on there and sell there, too.

I don't want to sell clothes or phones or some shit like this in my city, but something people just won't buy on the internet. Or offer only a service.. I wonder if people would visit retro-gamerooms today

This.

Was living in central europe, was down everyday, no sense to live. Moved to southern europe, 350 days a year sunny, average temperature 20C, full with nordic beauties that cant stand it anymore in their islamic countries.

I had the same problem as you a couple of years ago.

What I did was common sense.

No one wanted to rent my store, so I've built 6 private massage rooms, created a website to get customers and I never had any slow day.

From old guys to beta fags, hell, even sandniggers, they all come to my establishment and for an extra 50€ they get what they want.
I wish I had thugs there, would convert them as my customers and make them pay a visit every week.

The costs are the usual stuff, water, electricity, internet, internet marketing by adwords and IG influencers, the salaries I pay to the girls are also very good (in their opinion), 1000€/month.
They are all from Brazil and know how to speak broken english if needed.

Even if you can only get 5 customers per girl a day, you're looking at the very least at 1500€/day.
And that's only for the happy ending, because you also charge for the real massage and drinks.

>if you can do one-offs in empties for free/practice first

that's actually a thing most of them offer here.. you can use the rooms for like a month or two without paying a rent (only the costs for heating etc)..

but stll.. I don't have a good idea.. A nice bar would be nice, but that's not possible to "test" because of the needed licences and costs for the hardware...

wasn't looking forward to becomce a pimp, but sounds interesting as a cashmaker.
How did you start to get the girls? Talking to those hobby-hookers online?

The situation in Brazil is very precarious, those girls will come work for you and thank you everyday for the opportunity.

You can get them by posting jobs on brazilian websites or even by contacting them directly on instagram.

I'm not a pimp, a happy ending it's just that, it will never go beyond that (unless the girl privately does that on her own time ofc).

oh so you live in brazil yourself? think I mixed your post mentally with another one and thought you're from europe.. that's why I wondered about the brazilian girls.

300€/massage? damn that's like 3x more expensive than I thought it would be.

he said he got 6 rooms. so probably around 50€ / massage.. maybe even cheaper, if more girls work in shifts 24/7

Oops I'm just a brainlet, missed they said it was 5 customers per girl a day, I read it as 5 customers a day.
30 customers a day seems like a lot of customers, no? I'd expect most massage parlors in small 20k person towns wouldn't get more than a dozen a day.

i dont think this works out for small towns, the happy end part will make it a no-go for many people

Run (i.e. let other people run) evening and weekend courses for personal development and adult education. Advertise in all towns around. See what works, so offer different topics. Recruit different experts or hobbyists as teachers, they either per you a flat fee or you share profits. You take care of a nice location, catering, payment etc.

yea I think the same.. but (speaking for a small city in north west germany) unofficial marketing of happy ends could actually get that many customers I think.. we have no brothel or streethookers or something like this here.. best thing is a thai massage (without hapy end)

as long as its like a "get rich in 2 months" - scheme this would work... for honest course we have several "volkshochschulen" (VHS) .. and those aren't that popular sadly..

VHS is boring, formal, slow. The F in VHS stands for Fun. VHS is no competition.
You have to find out what people want, in a setting that's nice, where people feel welcome. Be inventive, experimental, talk to people. And care about people. If you just want to do "some stuff in some empty shop" then forget it, it's not your business.

>full with nordic beauties that cant stand it anymore in their islamic countries.
You mean Bongmongs?

No user, I'm from Europe.

Most of my customers come from Internet advertising.

25€/massage usually (depends on the time and if you want something specific)
50€/happy ending

There's also alot of drinks, oils and misc products that are sold at the reception, which covers the rent and all advertising expenses.

You'd be surprised by the amount of people that just go there to have a good legit massage, but at the end their brain always asks for more.
A good looking girl and massage technique is necessary of course.

90ies in western europe was a singular high in human evolution. be thankful you witnessed that era user.

The 90s in general. We will never again witness a decade like the 90's again. ever. Zoomercucks will never understand what it was like.

Unfortunately I barely understood either considering I was a teenager.
