because it depends solely on where you live.
Obviously this is for North Americans only,
just sold my '18 camry le for 17,5
then bought a 2006 xle camry w 12000mi for 3,2 excellent condition
tldr fuck new cars
tl;dr Toyota Corolla 2012-2015
anything toyota
the cost is irrelivent in the short term
point is they NEVER break down had one over 10 years
get u from a to b
bmw m240
2009 gold Camry
In USA cars are so cheap and people spend insane amounts of time in traffic so i would buy something that is safe in traffic, quiet and comfy to drive. In europe it's totally different
Mazda 3 2014-2018
90% of cars are german in wealthier towns in usa. Also in places like beverly hills you might get societal pressure to drive newer luxury car just not to look poor. Then again if you are somebody like mel gibson you can drive anything you like cause everybody knows you have plenty of money no need to show off anymore. Most rich peopl etc celebs still prefer porsce, lambo, tesla, mercedes, bmw and audi and all these are about 60% of european prices in western coast
this.
my family owned a sienna from 2002 to 2015-6 or so. never broke down ONCE. still worked fine as fuck when we sold it. we took it on road trips all over the western us from wyoming to arizona from california. i miss that damn car.

Camry is the end all. Best design and quality amongst the big _(Camry, Accord, civic, Corolla)
So you sold your 1 year old car after taking the worst hit of depreciation?
Classic Jow Forums
I got a certified used 2016 honda civic ex. Go for the 2.0 not the turbo if you want reliability as the turbo has oil dillution issues
I plan to keep mine for 20 years
If you are not rich as fuck. Buy a Toyota. You are beta as fuck if you need a Audi or Mercedes to get social status or pussy.
Be smart.
Subaru outback
Skyactiv Mazda 3, Sienna, or Land Cruiser 100.
The last gen Camry seems overpriced compared to these. Would add Cx-5 but pre 16' sales numbers weren't big enough to depress used prices, though the FWD 2.0l models could be bargained for.
this
you are buying a camry for reliability. the camry will outlast those everytime
get you a good ole ford ranger
preferably pre 1996
with the 2.3 lima engine. will last forever.
also
Drive an old prius till you make it
I've already saved myself tens of thousands of dollars in gas and repairs
Rangers mount up!
I got an 05 so I missed the good engine, but still reliable vehicle that can pull my boat
the duratec has more zoom, but i like the simplicity of the lima. cheap and easy to maintain. i have a lot of custom upgrades as well that makes it that much better. my ranger has 100 horses of raw fucking power baby!
Then find an Avalon.
Most have no clue the Landy is the flagship toyota and the ultimate in reliability/durability. The Sienna has incredible development miles due to also being a fleet vehicle. The skyactiv 3 is much more enjoyable than the camry or corolla, engine handling packaging aesthetics interior space (5 door), and is not any less relaible. Very well developed, higher road noise though.
with a manuel she is perfect in every way.
based and reliability-pilled
don't get jew'd on those american or european dick extending toys that break down every month
My family is in the auto repair business with multiple repair shops. I'm not a fan of mazda, the part availability isn't as good as Toyota/Honda, and the parts are a higher price for a lower quality product.
The years of them being Ford's bitch did no favors, I still see cut corners and general bullshit when it comes to Mazda, especially the 3 model (skyactiv or not).
My brother even has a 2016 Mazda 3. Simply not a fan, no reason to get one over a Corolla or Civic. The Civic is far more refined and the Corolla is far more reliable.
The saying goes like this, Mazda & Nissan is the price to pay for being poor.
Walk or cycle. Cheaper, healthier, better for the environment, more fun. Go /n/ and never look back.
What does biz think of Hyundai?
>2016 honda civic ex
based. bought my 2018 EX-T new, we'll see how the turbo holds up but im keeping it until the frame rusts away
Yeah for up to 5km i would recommend an electronic mountainbike. Noone can stop you and it is comfy as fuck to not feel the higher power needed with fat tires due to the motor.
Being Ford's bitch is disingenous when Ford is still using Mazda's last gen engine tech. And I deliberately left out ford parts bin mazda models.
Is a Civic with a CVT more refined than a hot hatch with IRS and the best torque converter for the money? In your opinion.
The mexican corolla being more reliable than a mexican 3 is specious. The mazda fleet is lexus tier reliability. Toyota sells the mazda 2 as their own model, and are in a partnership with Mazda now because 'renault-nissan' lowly Mazda, in 'your opinion'.... literally saved IC.

But you probs a burger so they don't sell that there. They sell Nissan leaf though.
>I pay nothing to charge my car in my country I travel to local free charging spots
>£4000 5 y/o (Nissan leafs are a few thousand more in equiv use value)
Corolla and Ranger; those are the only two I've owned. Both are damn good.
Owned these:
1988 Ranger XLT Extended cab
1992 Ranger XLT Reg cab
2000 Ranger xlt reg cab
2005 Corolla (whatever the near top end one was; mine came with sunroof, fog lights, sporty appearance, rear spoiler, black interior) Kinda aside but it was actually made in 04
2014 corolla CE (current ride; only has 57k on it)

Im bitter at the automotive selection in north america.
I want a fucking 90s JDM GTR or one of the land cruiser 70s that toyota re-released a couple years back.
toyota camry in the 1990s
OR
lexus sc300 or sc400 (also 1990s)
modern toyotas look flat out trashy, trying to be something they're not
Ranger is the way to go.
I've owned two and I've paid $600 for the '93 XLT Reg cab Long Bed and $450 for '99 XLT Reg Cab Short Bed.
I've actually made my money back and some more on both of them by parting them out after they died. It's great driving a car you only paid few hundred on. I can park like an ass hole and not worry about getting dinged, play chicken with people who have nice cars, etc etc.
yeah all that sounds good on paper but it doesn't translate into a good car. I repair far more 3s than Corollas & Civics. CVTs aren't bad anymore, that shows how misinformed you are. The first gens in Nissan were bad, that was over 10 years ago.
Mazda is not lexus tier, please stop shilling man.
Also, I'm talking about the Civic SI, you colossal cherry picking homosexual. Nobody expects the base civic to be "refined," neither is the Mazda 3, quit falling for their shit marketing. If you want a fun to drive econobox get a Civic SI, not a fag tier mazda.
Camry is a god tier car, they dont want to break down
Is the Camry worth the extra morning compared to the Corolla? Looking to buy my first car and torn between the two
>This is an important topic that no one here talks about,
Why don't you go check the sticky on you fucking newfag. Or perhaps i shouldnt direct you to other boards and keep this infestation contained.
