ITT we only talk about coins with a bright future.
Not welcome: LINK, BSV, TRX.
I'll start off with GRIN. It's got a lot of dev attention and hype, and if it takes the throne as the MW coin it is here to stay. Only downside is its lack of emission cap.
Next up REMME. Not nearly as big as GRIN, but also much lower mcap (GRIN's emission has only been going on for a couple of months, so by the next bullrun the mcap will be much higher even if the price stays the same per coin).
REMME is a good idea (trustless public keys), remains to see if they succeed

Next upp XMR
King of the privacy coins, Zcash won't be able to compete since they can't support privacy by default (who want's to receive transactions in Zcash if you can't be sure the sender even knows how to make the tx private).
As long as XMR isn't cracked, the only real competitors are GRIN and BEAM.
MW implementation no. 2, baby brother of GRIN. Pros: capped emission, professional dev team. Cons: Professional dev team (not grassroot like GRIN), less hype, less dev engagement.
Probably superior to all other coins technically speaking, the platform for thousands of tokens. Already the most versatile and dev intense coin, working on taking over more applications (decentralized DNS servers, data hosting, etc).
>What's "an empirical analysis of traceability in monero blockchain" Outdated, disproven garbage. >ZEC will be used for dark budgets Even if you get past all of the ethical issues with ZEC (corporate nature, trusted setup, dev mining tax) the fact that it has optional privacy is always going to make it vulnerable to temporal analysis in ways that Monero never will be.

I don't get it, what's Nano's unique selling point?

>DASH and KMD.
What does DASH do that other - more dominant - coins don't do already?
What does KMD do that ETH doesn't do already?

>only downside >implying this isn’t a fatal flaw.
