Need Advice on Increasing my Chainlink Stack

I'm in my mid-twenties and work in bizdev. I need bounce ideas off fellow based fellows and have my ducks in a row, so to speak.

I make after taxes about $50K a year and have savings of about $40K.

My dad gifted me an apartment to stay at a reduced rate in one of the apartment bldgs my parents own (its a multi-family unit of 20 apts). I just have to keep my eye on the property and be something of a property manager (read making sure the contractors/property mgmt are doing what they're supposed to), so my monthly overhead as capped at around $600 a month roughly. Not a bad deal overall.

Anyway, I need to increase my LINK stack. I moderate amount already, but I hear Coinbase takes you through the ringer when buying any amount of bitcoin exceeding $25K, and I'm not sure Binance can facilitate retail purchases via debit of $30K in crypto.

Any thoughts and suggestions?

Work more.

I'm thinking btc-->LINK via coinbase and Binance...

Or should I try and go straight to Binance?

I want to make it and make a point to my family that I have made a based decision they can be proud of.

I have the funds mostly.

I already allocate about $1,200 a month on avg DCA into LINK acquisition. I'm thinking of putting another $30K in.

I've heard some of the horror stories with Coinbase...

Anyone have any success with Binance for large crypto purchases?

Coinbase deposit from your bank. Move that to coinbase PRO and place a limit order (no fees) then move that out to the exchange of your choice (no fees) buy link.

This is what I do. What I recommend is buying a substantial amount of btc or eth and keeping it on coinbase. This way when you want to quickly move your fiat to binance to scoop up some link, you can start a deposit on coinbase and instantly moves funds to binance against the btc or eth in your account. You still have to wait a week or however long it takes for your deposit to clear on coinbase but this gives you some ability to move money more quickly.

just put the money in and buy link and delete this 80iq thread

0. Lurk and dyor before making dumb threads.
1. Deposit funds anytime on coinbase so they are available to move. Takes a few days.
2. Wait for an entry your comfortable with.
3. Buy eth not btc. Jesus Christ I've waited 12 hours to get my BTC to binance.
4. Send to binance and buy link
5. Send link to wallet, or don't IDC if you lose it.

That's a good idea.
Thanks for this. Will give it some more thought. Although, Binance may not have the freeze element to it. I'm liquid in my bank account but just haven't made a large one-off like this, until now.

The confirmation times for ETH are better, a lot of the rest you contributed user was noise.

Coinbase PRO? Thanks for the idea. I'll compare it with the wait time associated with Coinbase and their fee structure.

Gemini? Although I'm not sure why you think there'd be an issue with coinbase. Also make sure you're using coinbase pro, it's free and has extremely low fees.

I heard Coinbae does a lot of AML/KYC stuff for purchases exceeding $25K... so I'm fearful that extra time to satisfy them may get in the way of the LINK buy. I would love to start by early next week. Waiting to hear back from Binance (my ticket is pending).

sell the aprtment go all in on link

My parents rent their multi-unit apts. That idea is out of the question. Tho the property values where I'm from could land us a pretty penny if my dad converts the units into the condos.

Well since link now has a pair with usdc, I'll start my deposit on coinbase and they credit my usd account instantly even tho the money hasn't cleared yet, you can then exchange usd to usdc feeless and send to binance for instant trading. But again your only allowed to send the same amount that you have in btc or eth until your deposit clears

Depending on your limits with coinbase, for you to move all your money into link may only take like 3 weeks which really isn't that bad.

Once you deposit to coinbase and the money is there from your bank, the move from coinbase to coinbase pro is instant. Buy and transfer (limit orders have no fees) and transfer out. The only wait is for the money to clear the bank into coinbase.

How big is your stack

Checked

But why not due micropayments?

Are you Jewish btw? Why do they charge you 600 bucks a month. Some managers of big buildings don’t get charged at all
