Should I co-buy a flat with my boomer parents?

>Britbong, 23
>Good area of non-london city 2 bed appt valued at ≈£240k
>have Income of £34k a year
>Currently live rent free with rents

Parents are offering to buy half of the property with me, but I'd have to take out a first-time mortgage for the other of about 120/130k

Is this a good way of jumping up the property ladder or one of the biggest mistakes of my life? They have wealth and this seems a quicker way of me tapping into it than waiting for them to die. I have enough savings to cover my deposit.

Do you plan to stay there for ~10 years? Is this their way of kicking you out? If so that sounds like a great deal.

>you wouldnt believe it Carol! We bought the property then sold our son 50% of it for 3/4th of the whole property cost! He thought he was going to take advantage of us but these lazy millenials are easy to swindle.
>you're right, fuck zoomers

Hello yeah it's a good idea. Also maisie is a 4/10 even in bongistan and her career is over the moment GoT is over.
