Can somebody explain to me how so many normfags can afford to buy $70k vehicles? Most of them work wagie-cagie jobs which pay the exact same amount in a year, so how is it possible?

no down payment and large interest rate
most normfags live completely leveraged and a single paycheck away from complete destruction

normies would rather lease a more expensive car than do any kind of savings. they want instant gratification.

This desu most Americans go through life in an entire balancing act

they cant. Financing is dangerous

They can't. They borrow money for them and make minimum payments until a major unexpected expense comes or they lose their jobs. Shit like this is why recessions happen.

They don't. That shit is all leased.

>Imagine ''investing'' in a dick extension toy for social status or a attempt to get more pussy

>Imagine not buying a Toyota and taking the reliability redpill

True this; Fuck buying a new car. Soon as it leaves the lot, bam 30% of the value gone. Then you got your insurance payments, etc. No one saves anymore. It's like people who drink those $5+ starbucks coffees every day. 5 X 365 = 1825.00 a year right there. Think of all those T babies you could buy with that instead.

Especially in places with bad traffic. Your v8 sounds really cool when were all going 5mph bro

Imagine someone paying $1k/mo mortgage and the fed decides to raise interest rates +1% from 2%. He suddenly pays $1.5k/mo. That's why the stock market shit itself after a 0.25% raise in december.

>Imagine using the money Mr. Noseberg pays you to buy an extra shiny wage cage

Luxury cars are only for the most hopeless of wagecucks.

there is nothing wrong with financing or leasing if you can back up that money with assets, the problem is most people live paycheck to paycheck and it's their own fault

I just couldn't bring myself to get a Camry because I hate the design.

Instead got a used Kia Optima for 20k, 60% down payment

Credit

They cant afford it, they lease that shit until they kill themselves or bankrupt their families

> 20k KIA OPTIMA......

FUCKING REKT

Yeah cause fixed rate mortgages aren’t a thing

Toyota are shit, the only brand that is more shit is Mazda

Yeah lol, I've seen interest on cars at 2%. Fiat in the bank can earn more interest than that. You'd be stupid to buy it outright.

I really hope this is a larp. This would be up there with the stupidest shit I’ve seen on this board.

Why

just put in an order for my m240

Standard 30-year fixed rate mortgages have FIXED interest rates, yah nohouse brainlet. No one is stupid enough to buy on ARM.

not taking the Civic pill

Bought myself a 2008 Ford Exploder with 80,000 miles for $7k cash, fully loaded, 4x4, limited edition. Feeling comfy. Can't imagine trading 10 of them for a single meme car.

dunno what you guys are pissing yourselves about, I love my car

Attached: dash.jpg (1360x903, 264K)

Nice car. I wish buy an used KIA Stinger in the future.

Cars are a funny thing because there's so many ways to look at it.

I enjoy pride in ownership and a good deal, so I buy used and usually end up anywhere between $500-$1500 / yr in maintenance. If you break that down it's like having a $160/mo car payment including insurance.

Some people want a new car every few years and don't want to deal with maintenance, in that case it makes more sense to lease. Some people want to buy a new car and keep it till the wheels fall off, in that case maybe a $70,000 car isn't so bad if you're making good money ($300k+ yr). Some people have no concept of financial responsibility and will let the dealership take them to the cleaners. They just love to finance the stupid. Other people have so much god damn money they just don't give a fuck.

I want to learn car mechanic skills that my dad didn't teach me so I fix my car when it breaks. The problem is I bought a Toyota so the only thing I've had a chance to do so far is change the air filter, change oil and rotate tires.

They can't really afford it.
But in this society appearance is everything so they prefer to mortgage everything.

Literally this is how the average zoomer's budget looks like:
Rent=50% of after tax salary
Student loan debt=33% of after tax salary
Entertainment and shiny new things=the rest
Retirement=none
Saving for a down payment to purchase a property=none

Zoomer's are so downtrodden they know they'll never be able to retire or live a better life than their parents. They're depressed and see no point. This is why so many are leaning blue and want to be taken care of by daddy government through forced sharing

jewish tier interest bearing loans, and minimal down payment.

>Yeah lol, I've seen interest on cars at 2%
most likely they tacked on that cumulative interest "savings" onto the price of the car then
>Fiat in the bank can earn more interest than that
fiat in the bank is retarded, all the risk of a bank run because of our fractional reserve banking scam and near zero reward
>You'd be stupid to buy it outright
if you finance you typically have to buy insurance on the car and sometimes you can't make certain modifications to the vehicle, because your loan is backed by your vehicle and failure to make payments results in confiscation of your mode of transportation

focus on the price, not the interest

fucking kekd

toyota has been getting bad lately man.

I don't get it really, luxury cars do nothing but are only slightly more comfortable. Maybe worth $100 more, not $20,000+ its crazy. Now I routinely dump $1k down the drain on stock options and shit coins but I still wouldn't buy a luxury car.

I have a 2016 M4 that I bought brand new. My first brand new car, ever. Don't come from money, family is all blue collar. I'm a computer engineer and make six figures in the midwest. I put about $15,000 down on it. Stick was ~$76k.

>spent his money on a car
>property he parks it on looks like nigger-tier shithole

this guy has his priorities straight anons. listen to him.

so you are in debt $50k. congrats.

What are you going to do when dotcom bubble collapses again?

>nigger-tier shithole
lolwut

Nigger I live in a 3500 sq ft house that was built in the 1800s and renovated as recently as 6 years ago.

I owe about $20k on a car that I can sell for probably $45k without much pain at all. I think I'm doing OK.

I have about $200k in crypto, not much debt, and I max out my 401k. I'll be fine.

Nice car man, I'm pretty jealous. I drive a 320si myself, only costed me 1 btc that I bought for 85euro back in the days, so basically it cost me 8k eur in unrealised gains (probably less since no taxes). Gasoline is a bitch though, I probably spend 50-100eur a week on fuel. Sounds amazing though. Lot's of fun for only 8k

Never gonna make it.

pic related is basically my car, 2013 F30 328i with those aftermarket headlights which I installed myself and all black grille.
Bought used 2 years ago, $30K total which also gave me a 10 year warranty, I put about $11K down and paid the $19K loan off a few months ago. 40K miles on it when I bought it. It was totally cheap and manageable for me. About as expensive as a brand new Civic tbhq.

that is the shittiest goddamn interior ive seen in my life. Acura was doing better than that in 2007
.you are an absolute retard. M bmws lose their value incredibly quickly unless they are a rare and highly sought after model. i dont fucking understand why people like you choose to buy brand new off the fucking lot when theres SO MANY gems on craigslist or ebay for 25-50k

wtf is M4 there was a 3 and 6 what is 4

you bought it based on looks

stupid fuck doesnt realize depreciation

japan vs korea

fkn idiot

>choose to buy brand new off the fucking lot
I didn't buy anything off the lot. I ordered it exactly how I wanted, and I got it for $500 under invoice. It took me awhile to find that deal, but it worked out really well. Trust me, they tried to get me to buy one off the lot. I had to go to an out of state dealer.

The 4-series is basically the same as the old 3-series, it's just that the 3-series are now four-doors. So the M3 is a sedan, M4 is a coupe (very similar car) -- same engine, rear end, etc.

You still have to pay them the same amount of money along with interest. A person needing to finance a car won't have money for savings anyway.

I spend $30/mo on gas and own my vehicle outright feels good

meanwhile my boss just bought a sportscar for nearly $10K and has been complaining about how much gas it uses while talking about saving to retire

Attached: 1541459976928.jpg (320x323, 34K)

My car loan is 1.99% -- it's basically free money. I don't fully get why they even give out loans at that rate.

Thanks man :-). I had a 335i before this (N54) and I loved the shit out of that car.

I don't drive. Don't even have a license. Feels good to live a lifestyle where you can take the train each day. Americans have had their whole country designed to spread shit so far apart they have to get massive loans for some piece of shit that is designed to break and support an entirely separate industry of scammers, add in the big oil influence and it's fucking crazy. Read up on who sponsored the whole road infrastructure in the US and why they did it.

I drove a 2012 Elantra for 2 years. Great car, and I was paying $20 over the monthly loan payment every month to offset the interest. Then I was diagnosed with a (benign) brain tumor last May. Total resection ensued, and I have no neurological deficits. I was happy to be alive, and traded my car in for a 2015 Camry. payments are about $100 more a month, but I love my car. Sometimes I do regret trading the other one in though desu. Oh well, live and learn.

where did you finance it through?
i have 800 credit score and my rate was 4.95%
got my car at carmax

I make 100k. My wife makes 45k. We have a mk7 gti, f80 m3. We’re paying 1800 a month mortgage on our house. We have about 100k equity. We have a rental where we make about 700 a month passive. Basically, I bought my m3 for 47k. Traded in a paid off car worth 17k. Never buy new

We can save 1500-2500 a month after all bills are paid. Not everybody is poor, people have made money in real estate, or had inheritances. It’s not hard to live good especially in a place with a decent cost of living (central Florida)

t. bought btc at 20k

I mean I bought a new truck tacoma with crypto gains paid in full
I was looking at BMW and porsche but realized sports cars are the real meme
when it's warm out it still has the new car smell

so you lost 31k so far

Normies are credit slaves
The goodest goyim
Wage slave until death to buy shit you don't need to impress people you don't like
You do want to show off on your Instagram selfies and get your likes, don't you goy?

for 3 year lease its like 5-600 bucks a month for something like that

Why do betacucks drive cars with angry faces?

Im buying my cars on my business so i can get -20% down on VAT payment instantly (things used for business are exempted from VAT here)

Buy a 100k car
Pay 80k
Sell the same car in 2 years for 70k
Buy a new 100k car for 80k.
Rinse and repeat.

Doing it like that for 7 years and i have lost maybe 10-20k but i have a new model every 2 years as almost free replacement. (Not buying 100k car either, its just for an easy comparsion, i usually buy something for 50-60. pay 40-50 ans sell for 30-40

I just checked. I bought in 2016 new Audi a6 worth of 65k - Payed 52k. Sold in 2018 for 45k and bought a new BMW5 (OP pic related) for 60 - payed 48. So i have lost 3k in 2 years and have a new car model...

>mfw euro and cheap alfa romeo

Yeah I agree rwd sports cars are not for Jow Forums soibois

Loans, mortgages and credits.

Pricey shit that u cant afford wont change ur status and most likely will make u even more poor ...

knowledge and education will make u rich.

piv.pivpiv.dk/

Have you seen the new Camry?

This might be bait.

This image gives me vertigo

>lately

naw their trucks are almost 50k brand new, for a fucking tacoma. They whole point of import is to be cheap. not to be a luxury car

I cant imagine buying a used car where somebody else has already farted in the drivers seat

>Make 100k
>Buy 130k worth of cars

Why are people like this?

he got it used

>he thinks central fl is "good"

A lot of people here are arabs

Literally meaningless excuse to overpay for your car, unless you're rich, buying a new car is a ball and chain.

I drove a 2001 Saturn Sedan from 2007 til last year, not because I had to but I had no reason to get rid of it since it refused to break down. People made fun of me for it, but it was worth having less stress.

Just smother the previous owners farts with your own farts and boogers.

I always do a steam cleaning and wet vac to satisfy my autism and make a used car mine.

I personally am planning on taking the Miata pill

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 160K)

Even if new cars were cheaper I wouldn't get the appeal. But they're really fucking expensive.
Why do people NEED a new car? I bought my NB miata for $2000, spent another $2500 tuning it including a turbo and for the past 2 years it's been so reliable not a single thing broke on the car. It got my through several thousand mile road trips without issue and with a big smile on my face, which most new cars can't since they're boring, underpowered econobox SUVs. Likewise my 2006 manual Mazda 3 that I got 3 years ago for $5000 had just one cooling issue that cost $300 to fix and then I had to replace light bulbs twice but other then that extremely reliable, good fuel economy AND it's fun.
Both cars after I got them I paid for a professional full interior and exterior cleanup that cost me $150 so you can't say that it's dirty because it's used. People who buy new are straight up retards, nothing to say else.

I bought a new car in 2017
I didnt pick the color or options or anything
I put something like 15k down and pay $200 a month for 5 years
Now its got 6k miles and no problems and no one other than me ever farted in the drivers seat
$200 a month is peanuts and 15k is no sweat off my balls

I love seeing normies try and resell their used bmws on kijiji for way higher than the price of a new car

Take the Matrix pill. Good ass engine.

I found a 2005 Honda Odyssey on Craigslist with leather seats for like 5 grand. Good purchase?

Bought a used 2017 mustang gt convertible premium package for 28k last year.
