Just quit smoking. Was almost 2 packs a day for the last few years. It's day 13 and I've already saved about $200. Anyone else have stories of expensive hobbies or habits?
Expensive hobbies or habits
Yeah, I stopped buying brand name shit and do all my shopping at Aldi. I dunno how much I've saved but I'm sure its significant.
How do you find time to smoke 2 packs a day? Would you go every 5 mins to be able to smoke 50 cigs in a 12 hour period?
Crystal meth
Paid cash and health in spades
I smoked a lot of pot for 12 years and cigarettes and did coke on and off I miss those days
Yeah roughly every 5 to 10 minutes. I make enough passive income to have the free time of someone unemployed, but for me all that free time led me to smoking more.
I live like an absolute jew cunt, maybe spend 6-10 AUD a day on dinner, but all groceries at Aldi or cheap asian grocers.
But I collect vinyl records, have a 33 year old V8 car I work on, I'm getting lessons to ride a motorcycle. i was into diving but it's fucking expensive, and I could never find a friend to do it with, so i sort of gave it up. However today I was chatting to a 19 year old QT at work who wants a dive buddy so looks I'm gonna need to spend a bit on gear hire.
Pipe tobacco and booze. Ive cut down the booze for crypto and I've stopped the pipe until I make it.
Airsoft
I pay for sex every few weeks.
