It’s an activity which has always been funded by a man (their dad when they were young or a potential suitor) the purpose is not to work so they can stop pretending that they do anything and they can own their laziness. Nobody is saying you should never move. In fact, moving to a new place is quite the opposite of blowing a couple grand on a weekend and expensive hotel.
But since you brought it up. I think a big part of my life is self mastery and creation. Where I am is not as important as what I do. Everyday I try to work on long term goals. Taking a vacation is just a giant pause for my goals.
