Institutionally girls like to have fun with people who have the means to have fun. But that doesn't mean you need to live far outside of your current wealth or have your money be your personality. As long as you are a person they can have fun around and you have a place to hangout with people, then you'll be fine.
At worst, you just need a wingman m8. Someone you can trust will help stabilize any situation if things start going the wrong direction for you. And rent out an apartment if that's all you can do. I'm in LA too, you may have to go to Lomita, Hawthorn, or Old Torrance if you want to get an affordable place that isn't in an absolute terrible area.
Just have a goal of making a combined income of $4,000 a month from multiple streams of income and you'll be making it comfortably with your own place. It'll feel liberating.
Also since you say you're an autist, I assume you have some autist interests. Here's something that might encourage you, I noticed that there's a fair amount of girls who think playing the pleb tier version of D&D is entertaining. Some girls get pretty into it too. It's for the novelty frankly, because it's known as a really geeky game. So if you have some really autist hobbies just pitch it to people your getting to know as a fun geeky group thing to do and they'll likely love ironically doing that stuff.
If not, then you're separating the wheat from the chaff.
