What are some weird benefits you get from holding certain positions? Like for example, if you hold 100 shares of Ford for 6 months you get access to like 4% + dealer pricing on new cars and trucks.
im not going to have anymore work for the rest of the year (oilfield contractor) i have 12 months savings funds so I'm not going to starve but is selling plasma and swing trading contracts enough to make 1k a month?

Be out working, seeing customers, building my business. Pull up Schwab account.
Awww fug. I knew I should have played the vix today. Instead sat on sidelines waiting for cheapie entries. Obtained cheapies but good lord that +38% move on the vix though. Oh well.
>Busy all day at work, had to come in early before the market opened >Hmm I wonder why I got so many phone notifications while I was there >Come home, open up charts oh dear. Fuck me I wish I had been able to trade today, I would have shorted hard at open ;_;
Wait. I changed my mind. Guy on CNBC said not a one day event. And I think we might be going down further tomorrow.

Do you change your views every week?

Does it matter how many contracts I buy?
for example, lets say I have 250 dollars right now, even if I buy one contract, all it means is that I will be able to buy 100 of those stocks, but I only have 250 buck, does that mean I can only profit from buying 5 stocks (since they are around 45 right now)?
or do I get profit from all 100 stocks my contract gives me the right to buy?
sorry but even after reading stuff I'm still fucking clueless.

I believe myself to "never" change my views
but according to these tests they drastically change every 5 minutes, so idk what to think

Been following it since.

Ding ding ding! How did everyone do today? I'm down .91%, worst day since Chrissimassu Eve. Managed to exit my LCI hedge puts without taking too much of a loss though lol. What the fuck is wrong with BGS? It's physically incapable of going below 19, but what's wrong with it?
down about 1.5% in unrealized losses. I sat through watching 30K in equity disappear only to reappear later, I'm looking at my side cash to determine if I should buy cheapies here or wait until another bloodbath day like Christmas eve

Explain this to me, how can two people say such oposite things about the same fucking chart?
I put all my money on a stock and lost 5% of my portfolio, stop loss triggered.
I don't want to play this game anymore, What are some etf's and other indexes that provide safe return? I'll just put some fun money into options if I'm feeling adventurous.
