BTC is nearing full blocks again. Both times it has happened, there has been a drop in BTC dominance.
Unless SegWit gets suddenly a lot more adoption than 40%, I don't see why anyone should hold BTC.
I recommend people to go and compare the mempool and BTC dominance charts. 2 big congestion events have happened: end of Spring 2017 and the market ATH time. These events coincide with BTC dominance making a big drop.
