Go back in the archives if you're a newfag, link was heavily (and seriously) discussed on here last year. If you actually understand the tech and have read the whitepaper (it's on their site), you will see that link is a revolutionary idea. I even find the shilling annoying at times, but I can't blame people for being excited about this project. The fundamentals look pretty decent as well. At the end of the day, do your own research.

Mainnet is likely coming this year. In any case, LINK was always going to be a long term HODL if you payed attention. Everyone knew that regardless of development, implementation/adoption would take some time. Not defending their slow development, but at the end of the day, they're not a massive team.
