There isn't a single legitimate advertiser who want just handed out BAT tokens. Companies aren't going to spend money advertising to a couple thousand people who turn on the ad option to get paid. Fucking gimmick

A reminder...it’s early days. Be patient and enjoy the consistent progress the Brave team is responsible for. Be positive and give constructive criticism.
People are excited about ads rolling out and so on, but I see a lot of people who are not happy with:
>buggy payouts for users since ads launched
>payouts for publishers through Uphold
>grants not coming through
>BAT is centralized
>no visibility / recognition for giving a big tip on a stream
>keep seeing the same ads and they’re all crypto related
Good things take time to build and great things take even longer. Please note that Brave is not even at version 1.0 yet and anyone using it today is an early adopter. First ad cycle done, functioning browser that has faster performance and great UX. We have a lot to be thankful for.
I see crypto projects fall into this trap, kind of how a lot of public companies in the stock market have so much pressure to bring immediate results in the short term, they cannibalize long-term and sustainable growth.
I’d encourage everyone to be tolerant of bugs, know that there’s a group of very smart and dedicated people working to fix things. Be patient and if there’s an issue, provide information, not negative emotions, so that the issue can get resolved.
