Chinese exports that have left port will be exempt from the tarrifs giving a 3-4 week window to reach a deal. This is the actual plan. The market will sink until the first of June. Thank me later.

> "We can do both, we can work on the here and now, and we can get started on the long-range problems. A very fundamental long-range problem is that we will run out of energy on Earth. This is just arithmetic. It will happen."

For subject goods entered for consumption, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after 12:01 a.m. eastern standard time on May 10, 2019, and exported to the United States before May 10, 2019, the 10 percent duty rate will still apply. CBP is working with USTR on additional guidance on the entry filing requirements for these imports.
I just erased every good financial move I’ve made in the last year, during the insane bull run. During the DIS dips before the investor meetings. During the times when people doubted Tim apple, and then when I correctly sold before this weekend’s trump tweet. I think I’m in the real blood red, after doing so much right. And now everything in my lifeblood seems to be going bad at the same time.
But I really appreciate that.
Michael Wright
unironically believe this me 50k short order @ 6.99
In the meantime, for goods entered on or after May 10, 2019, importers can pay the 25 percent duty and file a Post Summary Correction when filing instructions are available for the 10 percent duty. Alternatively, importers can delay filing their entry summary within the standard ten-day entry summary filing period until additional filing instructions are available for the 10 percent duty.

Try to have a short memory on this one. Trust the many things you've done right over a freakshow hit and run like today.

If I buy one SPY call, sell it, and buy a separate SPY calls, is that a day trade?
Cameron Collins
There was a little insider selling too but lopsidedly bought. It's a bullish sign. Insiders think it's undervalued. If they are fudging their numbers like the shorts say that makes little sense.
>it Trans, mentally ill(other mental illnesses than simply trans I should say), compulsive liar and a mediocre stock trader. When it's doing well the posts are every third post with fake baby like grammar. It used to be a trip (RetardedKneepadGirl) but got tired of everyone filtering it.

But why would Nasdaq tank tomorrow? We already know the tariffs start tomorrow. Shouldn't that be priced in already?
Charles Sanders
Might also signal they think the probe/lawsuit is bullshit and will yield nothing. I'm pretty happy with this desu.
John Howard
No. The market hopes that Trump will pull a big jk no tariffs tweet after dinner tonight.
If he doesn’t call off the tariffs everything goes blood red, red as he devils dick.
Sebastian Perez
Must sell Ford to purchase more LCI. I've got 15% unrealized profit on Ford, but was holding for divvies. But LCI, big if true.
Jackson Garcia
>No. The market hopes that Trump will pull a big jk no tariffs tweet after dinner tonight.
Why the fuck would he do that? Given how the Chinks hollowed out the trade deal, there isn't going to be a trade deal anytime soon.
Juan Diaz
Why would he do that? Because the market will have a massive sell off tomorrow if he doesn’t call it off, that’s why. But China will bleed more by far so I think he should keep the tariffs on.
If my company had earnings that both beat and guided up, and then sold from 9 down to 6, and I knew the response was irrational I would buy the shit out of the shares of my own company too.
I think he should come out and tweet something about how LCI's drugs are making guys impotent.

I am up 25% from a year ago, but if I would have kept my money in my company ESPP I would be up 55% and pay long term cap gains. Fml.

Idk everything I'm reading about LCI is making my dick hard.

>Posted in last thread after it got bogged Hey /smg/ I'm a newfag who’s interested in investing in the stock market to supplement my income in the near future for the long term, I've read up on terminology, read financial news, know how businesses operate (started a garage with my dad and making a tidy profit), and have decided on a broker. I would like any advice that you guys have to offer and one question, how much do I actually need say, a stocks and share ISA?

Re balanced my portfolio today. The market handed me a gift in the form of AMRN taking a dip so I took advantage. Reduced my T position and rolled the profits from that into more AMRN. Also bought a few shares of PINS.
I still have full faith in T and his Divvy. But when opportunity knocks you need to bag it while you can. AMRN is a proven thing. The only thing holding it back is the FDA; dragging it's ass on the approval. AMRN will fetch $50 a share. A buyout (you know one will happen) will see that hit $100 per.
With my shares I'll make 10k profit. Half (5k) will go right back into my bank account. The other half (5k) will go to buying more T and his Divvy. Thus I will pay myself back almost my entire brokerage amount. Whatever profit I make from my other positions from that point on will be "free money"
Then if PINS makes it and they get the attention of say Google/Amazon/FB/etc a buyout from that will be nice and sweet.
T's stock will be dragging at it's current range for a long while yet. So I have time to allow AMRN to grow and get bought.
Sebastian Young
nope that's illegal, viets aren't allowed to manipulate your dong

I fucking hate you LCIfags but basically insider buys are USUALLY good. It means someone that works at some high point within the company purchased shares recently (and they usually do so because they're bullish on the buy price and future outlook of the company, especially given their knowledge on what the company could actually hold in the near future, from the inside).
They have to file a form with the SEC that declares when, how much, and what price the shares were bought at, and the filing is made public.
there is no better reason to buy stocks than after they go down for some arbitrary reason
Thomas Morgan
I do this every 6 months and try to find a low vix so i dont get screwed. Sell everything, reassess my bond vs equity. Try to gain insight on sector risks and weigh the political atmosphere. I am a firm believer in periodically purging my portfolio and relearning the market and economic atmosphere. You really need to put the time in boyos. It's not actually free money.
Josiah Lopez
Shares were bought today and yesterday.

How do I gain exposure to the internal plumbing sector?
Another option is to wait till tax refund time next year and use that to buy a big block of T in one transaction. It's money that I won't need for anything and it won't hurt my yearly budget any.
Long as I don't get greedy and blow past 10k things will balance out. I'll make it all back once AMRN hits.
