Because in the event that it doesn't die outright and starts to attract even a small number of people to the market, I'm confident I can trade it for significant income in perpetuity. Low liquidity shitcoins are my specialty, and if it ever becomes anything other than a low liquidity shitcoin I'll have made it anyway. The risk/reward is favorable. 0xBitcoin is deflationary, had no ICO, is decentralized, and and has a monetary policy set in stone.

Claiming that a PoW mineable token on Ethereum is sound money isn't some radical idea... Even the most hardcore Ethereum proponents are openly saying that ETH is not a good store of value.

The fundamentals of 0xBTC are so fucking sound. It's only problem is, as Infernal_Toast mentioned, until the first halving it's a "waterfall" of tokens being minted. That won't even be a problem though once it gets more exposure.

During the next bullrun, money will be pouring into the market and what better place to park it than the first true mined currency on the most exciting platform
