This I know everyone wants to make it, but people overextending themselves to try to get more $$$ have backed themselves into that mess, and they wouldn't do shit to help more financially sensible wagies if they did make it.
I see this same shit with real estate, people leveraging themselves multiple times over so they can buy multiple properties, ignoring the risk of interest rates rising or prices crashing or losing their jobs. If things stay stable long enough they end up rich, if shit hits the fan they just helped crash the whole economy and the financially sensible people are forced to feel that pain in other parts of their life.
