None of you idiots will get that concept so here's the mouthbreather version: if everyone important uses an oracle layer starting off, everyone who feeds off them has to be a part to gain the efficiencies. The likelihood that a small business will try to make a competing oracle layer when all of their banking, ordering, data and access interactions go through chainlink. Nobody tries to build a parallel internet because they have to pay an ISP, and after the value of data plus payment APIs in the same network is demonstrated, it's over.
