Only because they are positioned well currently. In many cases I see companies utilizing both ETH and IOTA because right now ETH can do smart contracts while IOTA has 0 value data transfer. At peak functionality however I'm biased to one eating the other, whichever that may be. VET is basically chink ETHOTA.

Since you're a VET fan, think basically all the usecases and more pushed by VET so far as being applicable to IOTA except with 0 cost to the business for nodes or fees etc. DYOR but I think both are valuable desu. Chinese tend to go with their own tech more, so while I see IOTA being an open standard I think VET will have a foothold there.
Im bullish on Opacity if the team can deliver. Big if though. They are pushing utility over everything though, which is good.
