you apply for work and don't sign contract, no tax record present, your employer treats you as illegal alien and pays you cash, he couldn't deduct your wage so he pays income tax in his tax bracket, you get less cash

only worth it for medical school. go to a community college, ace classes, go to uni and get a 3.0, kill the mcat or dat and take out loans when you get into med school with a 3.5

Alternatively, pay off the high interest loans first and the minimum on the rest. I graduated with 50k in debt and am almost done paying off my loans but stopped paying because all are less than 4% interest rate. Better money to be made elsewhere now. I’m a moron with an accounting degree (no CPA) and have a job paying 65k after one year out of school. With stat degree you’ll be fine

I quit my job some time ago and now currently have 2 years left to go in medical school (pretty much entirely internships). I'll be 31 at the time i graduate.
Everyone i used to be friends with in highschool has their own house/appartments. Meanwhile i'm just alone in my studio i can barely afford rent for.

I don't know dudes, sometimes i feel like such a massive loser for still being in university at this point. I can't take care for anyone. I like medicine but the amount of time and energy it takes is taking a toll of me. Also my love life is basically zero right now.
