Do you guys have that "hustler" mentality when you are at work? Do you easily stay motivated?
I have noticed visiting friends in cities like New York, Ft Lauderdale, Miami, Atlanta, etc, there is a "get money" vibe. Everyone seems to be on the grind and working hard as fuck during the week, then gets hammed on the weekends. How do you guys stay motivated?
step 1: not dressing like the tryhard stupid faggot in the picture step 2: being good at things step 3: make money at the things you're good at step 4: avoid tryhard faggots like the one in the picture

Atlantean here, can confirm. Woke up at 5am, sat down at my desk & started working at 5:15am and just quit for the night.
Pretty much this. Be good at what you do, and you decide either to play the political game, or give no fucks and just be REALLY GOOD at what you do. If you make other people money, they literally can't afford to lose you. And if they think they can, I can assure you somebody else will give you what you're worth.

but I've only ever cultivated hoodrat related computer skills. If you want to commission a bot that scours the web for pricing fuckups or setup an ad fraud click farm using nothing more than a computer from 1993 and free Mcdonalds wifi I'm your guy. I don't know how to monetize these skills!

Yeah the amount of wealth in WPB, Lauderdale, and Miami is stupid.
Do you go to Florida State or just living/working in Tallahassee? I went to school there but never worked there on a professional level so idk how people are work-wise. I would imagine it is a lot slower than South Florida.

I go to FSU. Two more years and I'm out of this shithole. I have two small projects going now that I plan to run fulltime by the time I graduate.
Don't get me wrong though, I love tallahassee. It's just not the business climate I want and there aren't many people motivated like I am. But tailgates are still fun.
I feel you. I think there is some opportunity in Tallahassee as it is growing. I am pretty sure some South Florida guys own Township, Madso, and a few others. But definitely a much slower town overall.

Great post

>some South Florida guys own Township, Madso, and a few others. Yeah, one of them has a black gallardo and drives it around every night.
That said, that might be changing. Take a look at the Moran School for Entrepreneurship that's starting up. They're trying to position themselves as THE place to go to learn business, which is pretty cool.
