I just graduated university with a BA in Film Production. There aren't many huge film production companies in the UK but I thought the I would at the very least be able to find a job working at a TV production company such as the BBC or even just find a job in general. I have been looking for over a month now and haven't even gotten a job interview.
Is there something I am doing wrong? I have a one page CV so that it's not too long to read and it will catch people's attention and I have a very basic cover letter that I change aspects of depending on what job I'm applying for.
Why would any body hire some faggot straight out of college with zero actual experience or relevant skills? Why would they shoulder the burden of training you, educating you, fixing your mistakes? You need to look at other people who got jobs in the career field and and ask what they had to do to find employment.
Protip: it isn't as simple as showing up with a resume

No one is going to hire you in a dream job industry like TV where there are more people studying film/TV production than there are openings when they can take someone with two years experience. Shit I'm certified in HVAC a high demand industry much more in demand than TV and no one calls me back if I even get interviews. Why would they hire me when they can hire someone with experience?

Feels like every job field is oversaturated.

Hate to break it to you user, I really do, but most degrees related to film and the arts in general are really tough to find jobs for, let alone well paying ones.

Have you tried volunteering at the local Walmart or McDonald's. After a two year internship you might be ready to do a free internship with the local news station.

You could work with BBCs

I foresee a call center in your future
Shouldn't have been such a retarded faggot and pursued a degree in something "interests" you
Lucky there are a never ending supply of shit heel jobs for you to slave away at
