The massive increase in circ supply is certainly an issue, but not as much of an issue as the fact that there is no demand for smart contracts and the mainnet will be a ghost town shortly after launch.

1 Billion Links, at 1 dollar means there is not enough collateral to back a 1 billion dollar smart contract. Sergey and team are literally aiming for a 1.2 quadrillion dollar derivatives market. There needs to be enough collateral to cover trillions. Links market cap will be greater than the rest of all other crypto market caps combined, and it will also finally prove that market cap is a meme that no one should even bother with.

CMC is a useless site that should be shut down. Market cap for crypto's is not the same as a market cap for a real company. It's literally just price of the last sale combined by number of tokens. Any Pajeet can make his own ERC20 shitcoin, magic into existence 1 trillion of them, and sell 1 token to himself for $1 with another account, and that's how you get a market cap of 1 trillion USD in crypto. Anyone taking market cap seriously is a total brainlet.

There is no good answer. These fags will say that most of the supply will be locked up in nodes but that's just wishful thinking. Nothing stops a node operator from selling LINK at any given time and the market cap will reflect a circ supply of 1 billion. So yes, LINKs current market cap is essentially 1.2B.
