Eat the 3.5% fee, not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and wait for the BTC to be deposited in your Binance balance. May take 20 minutes or so. Then buy LINK that way.

I had 2 credit cards declined. Had to go the debit card route (binance even suggests debit over credit). Also had to call my bank 24/7 customer service line to manually approve the 2nd transaction so be alert to that possibility.

The Coinbase route will take too long. You can buy BTC on Coinbase instantly once you deposit USD, but Coinbase will hold the BTC for 7 days and not let you move them to Binance. Better to just eat the 3.5% fee and use your debit card on Binance.

You should use debit card, not credit. The credit card companies in my experience will deny the transaction. The debit card worked for me. The 2nd transaction was declined, but once I called my bank and approved the payment they didn't give af. And no, you're not going to fuck yourself. They most likely will not ask you what the payment is for 'cause that's personal info, however in the event that they do, just say its a cash deposit, you're depositing money into an account for later use.
