buy a Hardware Wallet.

Oops...

your gains have to be bigger than 800 euro
if you bought at 200 and sell at 220
220 - 200 * 15 = 300
you dont have to tell them at all

One of the smartest and safest bets to make right now
good job

How do they confirm you held for 12 months?

I cashed out that 800 already. I have 2 btc worth of alts on binance but no trading history as I did that shit on like 6 exchanges including Etherdelta which has no track record at all. So I have no fucking Idea how to cash that out if I ever feel like it. I mean I have to send it to my bank account afterall.

So I figured I make some "clean" investment this time even if it's that small just so I have no trouble with the fucking Finanzamt my dude

you'll cash out easily with exchanges like bisq. you will recieve money from private bank accounts which could be anything, just don't cash out everything at all and not always the same amount etc.
bisq itself currently doesn't support that for new accounts but the next version 1.2 will.

if they know already that you bought btc at all (through bitcoins.de) then you're fucked

I own one

godspeed my dudes

If i send a larger sum to my bank acc the bank notifies the Finanzamt. Also, it is very likely that every transaction by an Exchange to my account is notofied to the finanzamt. Then you need to show your Trading histry as you're supposed to pay a tax on every profitable trade. I have no fucking clue how that can work out rly but I don't knwo wnyone who did it. Most of the people I know that are into crypto just spend their gains on products they buy directly with the currency (mostly monero)

I'm not German but familiar with German capital gains tax. If you hold those coins for at least a year and THEN cash out, you do not have to pay tax on every profitable trade, just a general capital gains tax on the gross amount.

yeah thats what I plan on doing with the eth I just bought.

Difficult with the 2btc amount I have on binance tho as I didn't held for 12 months but traded quite a lot which I have little history for

oh wait, no as far as I know it's every trade regardless. Only exception would be you buy a coin, hold for 12 months then buy something else with it and hold for another 12 months. but if you don't hold onto it during those 12 months its a taxable event

that's not right, it's "Private Veräußerungsgeschäfte", you dont have to pay anything after 12 month, not even declare in your tax except if they are asking for it, then you have to proof the 12 month duration

tfw i paid 60k€ in taxes on crypto this year
