I tried to tell a good work colleague back in early 2018 that the market had bottomed and he should buy crypto. I also made the mistake of telling some friends... I think you need to test the waters before giving so much advice, for example now i talk about the fed, the economy and gold first, and if they aren't interested i just give up, however if they become interested i little by little start talking about the 2008, gold hedging, silver, btc being born... then ethereum... send some info so they HAVE to read it by themselves and do some effort, and if after all that they digged in and did their research then you start giving some average advice like telling them about exchanges like binance and opportunities, see if they are still interested after some days or weeks, ask if they have any ideas of what crypto would work, what they think about the future of ethereum, etc....
