The Telegram gang are now saying it's fine that people in the United States won't be able to participate in STOs or do a native token swap on a trusted exchange. Also when someone pointed out today that CHX fails The Howey Test, admins and well-known members have said it's good that they're in Liechtenstein then. But the 20-something OWN Ambassador said CHX is SEC compliant, because OWN knows what they're doing, so there you go. Nevermind that no well-known exchange would list CHX, most likely because it's a security token.

Remember how Sascha said hundreds of companies are on testnet, using temporary fake CHX tokens and you will soon be able to see those transactions? That was a way to establish CHX as a utility token, instead of a security token which it was. No one was doing anything on testnet, other than the devs.

Because CHX had no utility (in other words, real use), it was technically a security token. CHX served no purpose whatsoever other than being a speculative asset influenced by the fake DSR dashboard, OWN Ambassadors, and statements like "billion dollar" STOs and 1% of that being locked up in CHX. I'm willing to bet that's how they managed to get Hamersley Partners on board in the first place. Although then again they were fined by the SEC back in 2017...

Ehhh, that's going too far. Everything in these compilations are real. So are the partners on their website.

As for the second STO, it's also real. It's essentially a scan to PDF app for magazines that pays readers and content providers in BAT. But since they only registered the domain a day before OWN made the announcement, I'm guessing the product is still in the early stages being built and nowhere near ready for market.

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if they delayed mainnet for the sake of token holders who are in the United States, until they get a better exchange. Sascha did mention the token swap could get delayed a month or so back, before the roadmap.
