Trying to formulate a good portfolio to invest fresh cash in after a crash but before the bottom.

Can one of you boomers or gen x’s here explain exactly what the real ramifications of this trade war are? I’m starting to notice trends of people saying this is overreaction vs true fear and that makes me believe a lot of this dumping is due to the fact the bull run ended in 2018 and that we’re still in a bear market If anything this trade war is a black swan event that’s lead to extreme volatility in the market. Not to mention how there have been good companies beating or meeting expectations but barely given a glance by investors and misses are causing otherwise decent companies to tank to 52 week lows which makes no sense. What is really going on here? Does a trade war indicate a recession? Or are we already in one? Cause if that’s the case why bother even playing the market in these conditions it’s like walking into a game halfway and someone set it to Brutal difficulty and expect you to win.
Crypto isnt for people with weak hands, goes up and down 20% in the span of days, right now its re-testing its support, about to hit another ATH, just relax
Is the JCP brother still around? its below a dollar now, what's stopping this company from just going straight under? If you think this flaming pile of rubbish can be saved by their new CEO post your position so I can tell if you actually believe in this cheapie
Nathaniel Myers
Okay guys just got a DM from Goldman sachs, they are about to pump the market.
>the stocks are already overpriced >nobody gives a fuck about fundamentals anymore >there is basically no good opportunities left >the only way to go is down >trade war >falling stock prices always precede a recession
Jonathan Ross
Okay this is my last try to pump the market. Sorry I failed you
Just realized that the other OP didn't include the subject FFS, why can't you retards make a thread correctly
Asher Sanders
That's why we made a new one you ingrate. Imagine being a trip and being upset someone actually contributes to the health of the thread

Sorry for telling you to kys in the last thread, I didn't realize that you had made the thread for this reason Please unkill yourself

So is it safe to just not play? Wait till full recession, war, impeachment or whatever and then jump back in? What’s the catalyst to decide that the bull run is back? How low do we have to go? Till every stock is 20$ or under?
Unlike most people here, I can actually commit to a trade and focus on the long term instead of freaking out over short term volatility I'm completely calm, all the overemotional people in this thread are the ones on suicide watch

I sacrificed this week‘s capital gains for the hope of higher cashflows in the future. See pic related.
Trolling is fine, but I really hope you don’t believe this.
You don’t depend on your money to live, your parents pay for everything. Of course you don’t worry when you lose money, money doesn’t have any real value for you. It’s only for luxury goods, things your parents don’t pay for.
There was a similar crash in oil prices 1 year ago to the day almost. Could this be more than a coincidence? If I recall it was due to a bearish leak from the OPEC meeting. Now I guess it's due to supply glut and tradewar so probably no correlation. It's fucked that I need war in the middle East or or massive OPEC+ production cuts to break even.
Adam Mitchell
You're really paranoid about this comfy guy, maybe you should consider suicide based

they don't need to, it's overbought and the rest of the market is panicking, and they don't have anything big happening until the end of the year. this is a bart, there's literally no volume between 120 and 130 to support it

mine are july but I want to unload them within a few weeks tops. I'm up 60% today. sell some LINK, make it happen

What does this have to do with Tesla, a car company?

Finally finna finish appliance junction or what? I’m betting on the mouse to win the streaming “wars”, and just want to know if I should sell the rest and buy it lower, or just let it DRIP for a few years.
I see... I feel like Allidin and that’s Xman movie with Sansa Stark should tank, but frozen and toy story and lion king will probably be beloved and crush it in the box office, so maybe I should sell short term...
James Lewis
No LINK, and idk if I want to bet $100 on what some guy on 4 chin says
But, what's best day to buy put options, wait for a green day, or as soon as possible, even if the option is +100% today?

movies hardly move the needle at all. captain marvel didn't, endgame just barely, the whole spike was purely from the disney+ announcement. I made $4k on calls during that. plus these live action movies are not doing well at all. this bitch is gonna fall in the short term. end of the year we can ride it up again.
