So after years of ignoring opportunities, yesterday I decided to take the plunge and start investing some money. I made a coinbase and binance account, and bought some meme coins. Is there something I should be doing after buying the coins on binance? What do you use coinbase for if you buy all the coins and trade through binance? Bought some HOLO on a whim, and am probably going to buy more HOLO. Any thoughts on this? Anything I should be doing to make sure im not fucking myself over in the future?

I am with you user. I always felt like HOT will either moon violently or crash to zero, and I still believe that. There is no real middle-ground because the price heavily depends on adoption, not just speculation. But the project has come a long way, has gotten a lot of media attention and I really hope this positive trend will continue.

yeah i totally agree, i think it was fucking ingenious to launch holochain as an indiegogo crowdfund. that way a lot of people from all walks of life got in touch with the technology, not just crypto-autists. that's paying off big time, holo has some really amazing connections in the SF bay area, silicon valley, and to various other organizations like the united nations, etc.

besides that it has the secret sauce for a moon. ambitous team with amazing work ethic (see github), cool name and logo, huge meme potential, deluded community, truly disruptive technology, low sat coin, etc. The funny thing is they haven't even really done excessive marketing, HOT shills itself pretty well. We'd probably be in the TOP 10 already without the holoport delays.

Can somebody explane what is HOLO perspective from profit POV? The Holo-net is a great idea but what are the incentives for its user to use HOLO, not any other Crypto or custom tockens within it?

The reason to buy Holo hosting would be to host your decentralized apps (they are called Happs here). Hosts are also getting paid in HOT, it's like a balance system of income and spending. Then you can sell that for BTC, USD or whatever.
