Well it will follow BTC, but this year BTC grown from 3k to 8.7k and cripple from 0.3 to 0.4. So it performs worse than BTC or ETH.
And don't forget that xrp relies on banks so it's an enemy of all crypto.
OP should dump his ripple for BTC/ETH/BCH if he wants safety or invest in some perspective not well- known shitcoins which can make from 10 to 1000x. Or invest in a decent project that hasn't mooned yet, like Holo.

I've around 10 ethereum, so need around 22 more. I'm able to put around 1200-1600 bucks in crypto each month (not only ethereum, I'm heavily diversified but I'll focus on Ethereum once I accumulate my holo stack).
Ethereum growth makes me fucking nervous, want to have 32 before it beats it's ATH. I dont wanna sell my BTC or alts for ETHEREUM in the future.

Ripple not mooning yet is reason to buy it. Its next. It always fucking moons.

I'm not really investing based off principals. Ripple has an actual real world use case. 20 dollars is being pretty conservative.

Well XRP isn't performing well compared to other cryptos, so it's bad choice based off earnings and roi. And don't forget that crypto and banks are mortal enemies, at the end 1 there can only be one winner. If banks die, there will be no necessity in ripple, and if crypto dies, ripple dies too.

Yes, ripple granted it's early investors massive gains, but it already succeeded and mooned. It will grow, but only after BTC and BTC always gets more %, so investing in ripple is pointless atm.
