You’ll never be rich or happy so don’t worry about it

It's the same thing.

Yikes, see someone about that projection

Money buys happiness. Anyone who tells you otherwise is lying.

BEFORE or you might never really find it

lmao I'd like to see you say the same thing when she's 40 y.o and fat

Pursue happiness, and you'll find happiness takes far less money than you realize.

Before, because "getting rich" isnt a guarantee, and even if you did somehow get rich you would return to the exact person you were before a week later

"Happiness" as society sells it to you is a meme

>even if you did somehow get rich you would return to the exact person you were before a week later

This is bullshit.

t. someone who went from poor to middle class

Once you move up a socioeconomic bracket you wonder how you ever survived prior to that.

getting rich isn't a guarantee. You need balance OP. Find simple pleasures and positive mental routines while you pursue your goals.

Happiness as Joe Normal defines it caps out around $50-70K income. So you entering a middle class where base levels needs are easily met and you have easy recreation did lots to remove a base stress level. Say you got that same $25K a year jump now - will your life improve to the same degree as it did now? Not likely. You will just have more of the same and no large barriers to fulfillment exist in your life anyway compares to someone grinding away for $25k a year.

Someone going from $75K to 200K will most likely in a year or two be basically the same person - just with more experiences. All anons needs to keep this quote in mind
>happiness is quickly metabolized

This is the best pep talk I've had in a while. Thanks user

FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

This

OMG I DON'T HAVE TO PAY ANY BILLS
I CAN GIVE AWAY $100 A DAY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE
IF ANYTHING GOES WRONG I CAN TELL MY PARENTS
IM SOOOOO SAD AND BORED
Heeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeeeeee

Money eases circumstance, happiness is a temporary feeling, meaning is what you seek. It will propel you toward money, happiness, and get you through inevitable suffering.

if you get enough money to live off passive income you will have 8 more hours a day to figure out how to be happy

I will never be happy. But getting rich would help

Pursue paper but enjoy life at the same time, just know when ‘happiness’ is getting in the way of a much better, later happiness.

Then when you are rich you’ll remember how to chill. Some guys don’t remember. I knew men that blew their brains out because they realized they were a shell of a human.
