Someone called Dr. Craig Wright claims that bitcoin is Turing complete (this is considered his signature theory, albeit not peer-reviewed). However, when you look into it, it looks like some wordplay where he uses an arbitrary definition, and his "Turing completeness" doesn't allow for infinite loops, which makes completely no sense because you're unable to create loops with an unknown number of iterations (the same limitation applies to the scripting language of his coin, BSV).
Can CS guys elucidate on this from a more academic perspective? Is this truly as much sophistry as it seems to be?

it's bullshit, simple proof: you can't do any computation at all with it.
turing complete would mean literally the opposite: you can run whatever calculation you want with it. (specified it's a function you can calc - there are functions you can't)
