Everyone treats crypto like a ponzi when in reality we already had the second dot com bubble, which was every single tech company in SV for the past decade. People shit on ico's for raising too much, sure I understand. But having a Series F funding round? Six rounds of funding is supposed to be different when it's spread out of several years? Start ups have just been outsourcing labor to third parties via gig economy and hiring extraneous millennials to excuse all the money they're burning before dumping stock on the next round of investors. Meanwhile legacy companies outside of the tech bubble have been buying back their own stock since 08.
