i was wondering if anyone else is reevaluating what he thinks of this cucknugget here... i used to hate his guts but in the last few years i came to realize that he (however funny that may be) is the sanest fucking public speaking asshole in the entire crypto space right fucking now.
i thought he betrayed us all. no i wonder how he must have felt when he forked off.
Better orator than Craig and less caught up in the core/bsv drama.
Bch will be fine.
Dominic Williams
the other thing about bch is it seems to be taking the safest sanest middle ground in between btc and bsv both going full retard in the opposite direction. i found bch blocks unnecessarily big especially considering the real tx count, it should have a more organic growth but frankly compared to sv it is not even looking like trying too hard.
Blake Green
also seems to be more consistent in what he is saying (about bitcoin and crypto) since 2017. except for about craig. he used to believe he was satoshi which was fucking weird. i wonder what he says about that now.
he's part of the Bitfinex / Coinbase / Binance / Blockstream scam gang
a fucking conman
Jose Johnson
Or they’d blow each other with ver’s prison time and Craig’s blatant homosexuality.
Liam Thompson
just a few thoughts -i don't get what you mean by node subsidies -malleability fix is required for both ln and safe 0-conf it can be done right and it can be done wrong like core did but malleability fix adds value -non pow consensus is indeed retarded that was my main issue with bch up till now. i guess cashies were expecting things to get better if hash goes their way and until that playing to survive. -the wormhole thing pretty much turned out to be useless fud i haven't heard a word of it since the fork -social media is of no interest to me unlimited was trying to democratize btc development and failed i don't know how far they got with cash. -abc memeing again irrelevant can't even tell how much they actually got to do with bch development which actually seems to go in the right direction interestingly.
Blake Howard
If you listened to Craig speak yesterday, he and roger share many of the same goals for pragmatic usability with their respective tokens. It’s a shame their heads got too big to work in unison any longer.
Landon Powell
I liked Roger I really did, but he outted himself as a trader during the split, sad really. Hope he wasn’t stupid enough to dump all his bsv for bch and sees the light again
i listened to craig a few times he is a blithering retard. i had enough of that for a while. used to hate the psycho talk roger gave, but i watched his debate where he mopped the floor with tone vays and a few other vids, i like what he says a lot more now especially with everything that went down in core development from lukejr and greg sockpuppeter maxwell. bitcoin shtill has no short term coping mechanism with clogged mempool. no effort is made to address this in the advent of the next bull run. it either works out or not.
>It's a centralized piece of shit, random neckbeard devs can change the protocol at will that seems to be true to any coin today. the question always is will the herd follow or nobody downloads your change?
Noah Anderson
Too bad he's gay.
Brayden Miller
who is not gay in crpyto that speaks for it?
Christian Moore
lost in BCH irrelevancy, BTC still rules and creg is louder and more abnoxious trying to pump BSV
BCH will eventually go to zero as people stop caring
Aiden Garcia
well i used to not care at all but i start to when i look at this jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,2w and then some faggot core dev starts shittalking about 300kb blocks
we should havve just doubled the block size with every halving nice steady organic growth with underlying technology and infrastructure. but it became a dogmatically entrenched position not to increase the block. i know it's possible to scale otherwise but there is a fucking crisis right fucking now. and we ain't even started the bull run yet.
calvin and his criminal empire is probably not pleased with him at all. he promised them he will prove he is satoy in court and it's not fucking happening. costs start to pile up. people are not as intimidated as they would like. looks like craig may see jail time for submitting fraudulent evidence.
no question about that. he gives me the psycho vibes still. especially his older videos.
Landon James
I think he has his heart in the right place but also that everything got to his head to much.
Samuel Martin
i don't know about his heart but he is saying the right things repeatedly. bitcoin was not meant to be clogged like an indian shitter every day. nor was it meant to be a fucking new internet where every fucking useless trivia and illegal garbage is stored forever but it's so bloated it's completely centralized anyhow.
bitcoin has to increase the blocksize the miners need their rewards without killing onchain txes completely. if core refuses there gonna be serious problems if not now, then in a few years. i'm starting to hedge my bets in this direction. you could say trust is completely gone in the sanity of core dev team. it's past time they did something about both segwit and block size and they are fucking sitting on their hands.
Thomas Walker
>i used to hate his guts When did you enter Crypto? I entered in 2011 and never hated Ver. It seemed mostly nucoiners falling in to the anti-Ver camp.
Matthew Allen
2011 also, i was an avid supporter of bitcoin unlimited right until the fork. i couldn't believe they went on with the minority fork. despite nakamotos warnings despite all common sense. it was desertion. worse they actually posed as the enemy. and roger was the poster boy of it.
Easton Sanders
Roger Ver used to be alright, then he went off the deep-end with his ridiculous signaling. He seems like he may be realizing that he went off the deep-end lately though.
i respect roger, i just wish he didn't pick a side in last year. the SV chain had the most hashpower and would have won the hash voting if roger didn't use BTC miners to mine on the ABC chain but still being able to pay the miners in BTC.
a lot of talent went with SV and a lot of talent went with ABC. when up against BTC it would have been better for everybody to stay united. it was all about bigger blocks anyway, not worth to split over upgrades that might not even matter. all that really mattered was big blocks.
remind me who said that you either with us or we bankrupt you it's war time!!!?
Adrian Gutierrez
wrong quote so: nobody said that.
Elijah Russell
it's not a quote nignog it's paraphrasing. and you know exactly who said it. craig reaped what he sow.
Connor Lewis
it's not exactly over tho
Zachary Wood
If you reside in the states, there are several talking heads working on behalf of the banking dynasties to shut any cryptocurrency down completely. I still don’t rule out the possibility that these guys got their hooks into the industry to help guide things in a way that benefits the powers that be; Craig more so in this regard than roger in that regard as Ver preaches more anonymity and the mantra of doing what you want with your own money; IE; Craig saying bsv will follow the rule of law versus roger with the Silk Road endorsement.
Does anybody agree, or am I way off base here?
Ian Barnes
he's so based, that Craig Wright's team forked his code. Craig wants to be Roger soo bad.
Jackson Myers
i don't really care about that. crypto does not require a legal framework to function that's one of the reasons why it's censorship resistant to a great fucking degree. controlling the entry and exit points seems to be satisfactory for both sides. governments let the protocols live without their meddling but control the interaction with the traditional asset markets.
some people don't like this. a few notable jews find the notion that their meddling is not required an affront. and craig wants to jam the entire crypto ecosystem under the thumb of the legislators in an effort to grab control of it through their authority.
Thomas Smith
So I’m not alone in my thinking here. People keep fuding BCH, but I read recently how core rolled blocks back and used priority mining pools to do the same thing in like 2014 in response to a major attack.
I wish I could find a link to the article now.
Aaron Russell
i wonder what goes on the mind of those cucks that think what happened to bch couldn't have happened to sv if the same two pools decided it's time for a reorg.
Carson White
like i've said i respect roger but i think he is a little delusional with the anarchy angle. if he really want bitcoin to become world money, in other words kill off fiat, he must recognize that it needs to be able to operate within all legal frameworks in the world, otherwise the large businesses will never adopt it (3rd parties that handle crypto so business never receive crypto doesn't count those businesses as having adopted crypto). if a government makes a crypto illegal then sure it will still work in that country but no big business will deal with it.
i think the dispute between roger and craig is silly. they both have the same end goal of censorship-resistant global digital cash for all income classes. bitcoin 0.1, the exact same thing that roger has been promoting all these years, can deliver on that promise. the only thing that stood in the way was small blocks.
for the end goal to become a reality sooner it would have been better if craig and roger remained on the same team. there was nothing wrong with the idea of just increasing the max blocksize.
roger's "anarchy" would still have a room to live within craig's legal bitcoin. it was exactly the same bitcoin as always. they both complimented each other, bitcoin cash with both was perfect. roger pulled in anti-gov people and craig pulled in pro-gov people. roger spoke to "rebels" and craig to big businesses.
i just want to see bitcoin at scale and i don't think a crypto that isn't fully legal can ever become that. getting excited about feeding chickens on twitch 10 years after bitcoin launched is not timely, if this show doesn't kick into high gear within the next few years it will be too late.
Surprisingly cogent, informative post, fren. I guess people were wrong; Jow Forumstards, though slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose.
I’m all in on bch and LTC right now, I pray that you achieve heavy bags of your own.
Austin James
nigga you retarded? if those 2 pools that could 51 bch decided it's time to reorg sv they can do it any fucking day any fucking hour no arguments no appeals you are fucked. they can do a 20 deep reorg completely destroying sv.
Eli Wright
Yup. You’re not wrong. My sentence was meant to covey that point, but things got lost in translation over posts on Haitian turtle farming board.
Dylan Williams
kek sad thing about sv is calvin could probably 51 it alone.
Ethan Russell
IMO he was and still is a genuinely anti gov good guy Still mostly redpilled on zog Unfortunately, became obnoxious npc parrot nonstop forcing bcash bags.
Charles Brooks
holy FUCK
Samuel Murphy
He's controlled opposition. Don't trust anything he says.
Christopher Scott
I’ll take him over Craig and the folks from core going back and forth with him. What does the real identity of satoshi mean in the big scheme of things? Jack and shit, mostly.
Lincoln Gutierrez
just imagine for a moment if satoshi actually came forward, signed and proclaimed that insisting on the 1mb block size is silly and was never meant to be a hard cap and he is sorry he didn't remove it before he left. just imagine... core devs would fall over each other in an effort to hard fork it out. the personality cult is too strong. even lukejr would shut the fuck up.
Dominic Allen
heavy bags are troublesome to hold, the kind that nobody wants to take off your hands. so I'd prefer light bags. but i get what you meant.
This is what I've found too. It's just the crypto community that makes the most sense. I gotta say that I do miss Craig's big hype talk going away though. I wish he was just slightly less scammy and fraudy. Turn his con-man skills to convincing people to work together, instead of using the skills to only to boost his ego.
Zachary Murphy
i woulds say craig is a 100 times better at turning people against each other than getting them work together.
Evan Taylor
He use to be on the good team. Now he's going bankrupt.
>did something about both segwit You can't "undo" Segshit.
David Martinez
>all that really mattered was big blocks Yep, scaling and getting the protocol set in stone is all that matters.
Brayden Bennett
not interested in the streetshitter version sorry
Brandon Lopez
A government held to account on the blockchain will be nothing like governments we have today. Craig's right about how to advance this technology.
Nolan Watson
not undo silly make it included in block hash so that no block can possibly be validated or propagated without it
Matthew Jackson
>blindly repeating slogans t. low IQ
Nolan Wood
>if this show doesn't kick into high gear within the next few years it will be too late. Exactly. We need a lot more usage before the next halving. It's at about this point in Bitcoin's lifetime that mining fees are becoming the primary source of income for miners.
Thomas Gonzalez
you fags cant be serious there is only one way to hold a politician responsible: at gunpoint
Samuel Garcia
They haven't even shown their full hand, you jackass.
Based anarchic capitalist. Fuck governments and banks. His only problem is donating to charities for niggers. I expect BCH price to skyrocket when he launches his version of localbitcoins, without kyc and regulations.
Why are you even arguing for this faggotry? If Core actually could undo Segwit and scale up blocks, BCH would be fucking dead. And no you fucking can't take back transactions made in the blockchain where the signatures were removed. That shit is there for fucking ever kys.
Kevin Robinson
so wait, nobody knows what he says about his stance or view of original Satoshi changing?
Caleb Martin
well duh they are big btc pools they can destroy shitcoins with idle farts. however looks like they are not interested in doing so in fact hell bent on playing nice.
Nicholas Bennett
Might be required to get them there. A government based on DLT would be radically different.
Jace Phillips
segwit fixed malleability which is awesome if you include the extended block in the hash all problems with segwit basically become a non issue.
Ryan Edwards
>segwit fixed malleability which is awesome What a fucking rat.
He's a tool. He went on camera claiming mt gox wasn't having withdrawl issues which caused investors to lose even more money. He promotes bitcoin bash like it's real the bitcoin on bitcoin.com which has tricked naive investors into sending bch and btc to the wrong wallets. BCH getting listed on coinbase was one of the most blatant displays of insider trading the industry has seen. Total scum bag.
Sebastian Adams
keep on deluding yourself might want to read up on satoshi dice in the meanwhile maybe you understand then
Julian Flores
Relative to the attempted genesis block hijack and the binance theft, I’m going to give him a free pass.
Jacob Young
Satoshi dice?
Ryan Gray
if you like malleability you can still use legacy p2pkh nobody is stopping you.
Gabriel Cooper
>he promised them he will prove he is satoy in court I doubt Calvin is that stupid desu. What he prob did promise tho was (eventual) access to wallets, whether Kleimans or entirely creg-invented, who knows. creg appears to drink his own Kool-Aid, as such, prob. not much of a leap for him to have talked Calvin into the mythical existence of this dragon hoard, just needed to locate the key, etc. Investing millions into this chancer on the theoretical he actually is Satoshi ? - nope, there had to have been a backup angle, this prob. also smoke and mirrors tho
Julian Allen
specifically the various rerolls
Asher Sullivan
I like him. He's smart. He's principled. And he's a blackbelt with a felony for selling explosives. All good qualities for a person to have. I just hate BCH.
Sebastian Flores
Trying for quads, “let’s see Paul allen’s Card,” type of roll?
