They are. That 1.47 price had a lot of speculation of partnerships and staking baked into it. When the blog post came back underwhelming, that shit got priced back out. I refuse to buy LINK over 80 cents right now. I haven't swung LINK in a long time, but I think it's pretty obvious that this is going to retrace pretty heavily over the next week, barring some sort of miracle announcement or buy order

No. Its going to be a $1 stablecoin until some new shit is announced, then it will sit somewhere between $1.30 and $1.50. Then the partnerships will be confirmed, one by one, until we are squarely in the $3.00 range. Then real world adoption will happen somewhere around 2022, and the singularity will take us to a top 3 crypto at $1000 per LINK(give or take a couple hundred). This is all fairly certain to happen barring some horrible security issue being discovered that drops the project to zero permanently. This is the most honest evaluation you will see of LINKs future price anywhere. Its not going to explode overnight like the moonbois think, but its also not going down to the levels we saw a month ago. Next month will be the same story, and the month after that, and so on. Thats what organic healthy growth looks like. If you are looking to make $50k tomorrow, LINK is a bad bet. If you are looking to become insanely rich over the course of the next few years, LINK is your best bet and the sooner you get in the better.

This current level is the correction. It fell to where it is because the mainnet launch was way overhyped. If it was going to bleed out it wouldnt be staying within 2% of a dollar at all times. If its not in the middle of a big movement, LINK is typically almost as stable as USD coins, but you go ahead and wait for that $0.50. LINK has been listed on another exchange, proven it has a functioning service, and released an academic paper that provides solutions to the security scaling issue, since it was $0.50. Im sure none of those things add any value, speculative or otherwise.

You are right, i am not being sarcastic. It will maintain $1.00 +/-0.05 for the next few weeks unless there is some major announcements by either ChainLink(unlikely) or a partner. No but short term expectations did. People were expecting Samsung and Microsoft partnerships to be announced, which was very wishful thinking. When that wasnt the case, people realized there was money to be made elsewhere and sold.
