Supervisor made me deaf

working in a kitchen as chef de partie for a few days.

head chef does many anooying things to "beast" new guys in.

one of the things he did was to come next to me and mime throwing a boomerang at me whilst simultaneously whistling through his teeth very loud and high pitched into my ear through his teeth while i was chopping lettuce. he did this twice this morning. first time i didnt react. so he did it a second tim

got home now and my ear is ringing, i think he damaged my hearing. ive never done anything like this before but i want to sue him or the restaurant. whats the best way of going about it

bump.

talk to a lawyer

how? dont you need money? what about no win no fee? is that the best way?

Stab him in the spine with a knife. Say he stepped back when you were walking behind him
>this is satire do not do this

im in the UK they only give us blunt knives to use if the thing is really tough. sometimes you have to cut the veg with the edge of a tray. i happened to be using the knife at the time though. the lettuce was quite a lot so they made an exception

my question really is, who do i talk to first? do i go to the hospital first to confirm hearing damage? do i go to the police station to file a report of assault? or do i go back to the restaurant and file a complaint with the general manager? or do i go to the lawyer first?
