I used to be invested in bat. But the token is worthless.. The company is a good investment but also they have to make their own browser now. Google will not allow brave to use their services anymore soon. Some new update or whatever and also bat in general is a utility token. They wanted to use btc but to slow and expensive... Eich is in talks with n chain and might build there eco system on bsv. Bat is dead. Company flourishing

First monthly contribution ever was today. Feels good passively sending Chuck-E-Cheese tokens to some of my most-used websites. I hope they're worth more someday but even if they're priced in I like that I can earn and give something to websites like archive.org and wikipedia.com with minimal effort.

It's an extremely informative website even if it falls back on (((conventional wisdom))) when it comes to certain topics. I've personally made tons of OC using screen grabs from wikipedia, too. There's no better free repository of data on miscellaneous subjects I'm aware of, and until that changes I can't hate on it too much for falling short in the ways that it does because many other sites are as bad or worse when it comes to censorship, bias etc.

yeah people like to shit on Wikipedia because it isnt always completely accurate but honestly all it takes is a few minutes to verify its information with other sources if you really doubt it, and also for every troll there are two people who will correct the wrongly posted info

Everyone I know who who has tried brave chooses not to participate in auto-donating, and just greedily hoards their free tokens. I dont see how the community can work when people aren't incentivized to participate.

all the people who are greedily hodling their BAT are trying to profit from growth. once everything settles in the distant future, it probably wont be as common.

I did once upon a time. I think the fact these convictions exist at all are proof that skepticism is not only valid but a civic duty in countries where such laws aren't legally enforceable; however I do not believe they disprove anything specifically by themselves. IIRC in Irving's case I think what got him put away was his writing about an instance in which a wealthy Jew was documented as buying some people's way out of a transit camp in one of his books which was then charged as being deliberate, prosecutable denial (not the fact he wrote about the even but perhaps how he wrote it) but again, I haven't been involved in the subject for many years now and my memory is fuzzy.

I really think it should be like 2 pools of coins people earn. Some invisible tokens to the user that auto contribute. User doesnt have to see it etc. Then they can have the larger share, just so there is some tokens being sent to websites.
