I'm torn with WTC. If you delve into it there are actually a lot of very interesting bread crumbs linking them to the likes of Huawei and many other aisan tech giants. (Rumours that walton are supplying them with 5g chips. Waltons asic miner is called Kirin and Huawei have a Kirin Chip) I've got a feeling they have been deliberately shit with meeting deadlines etc because bigger things are going on in the background that need to align first. Who knows? I hold a decent sized bag and i'm cautiously optimistic.
I'd urge you to DYOR and not to fall for the china hustle / valentine's day competition memes. If this turns out not to be a scam and the partnerships are real this could be a legitimate 100+x. Its a risky one for sure but there is certainly a very decent potential upside. What keeps me optimistic is that they could have easily exit scammed by now, it's not like they haven't had enough time or opportunity. Plus if they were intent on scamming, surely they would have attempted to pump the price. I agree, i can't quite work out Walton's place in those partnerships either. My best guess is a Walton rfid chip reader becoming standard in chinese mobiles. It would seem logical based on them embedding rfid's into everything for supply chain tracking, then customers could scan the products in store with their phones to get info about the products etc. I guess Alibaba and china mobile will play a part in facilitating this.
