I've monitored a lot (30+) of serious blockchain projects and the only mention I've seen of tendermint being evaluated as a scaling solution has been as a temporary one. In every case, they ditched their half-finished or not even started tendermint implementation and used some other temporary scaling solution instead.
They didn't say why, but I'm pretty sure it's because it's both too clunky and also too low throughput for the long term.

sentinel dvpn is first of all open source so it can be freely audited, also with multiple hops relay net you can be provably not logged and safe, everybody can host nodes and get payed for providing their bandwidth, and if someone tries to inject some malicious code they will get disconnected from the network, think of it this way, provide your bandwidth during the night and browse with vpn for free during the day

Main advantage is that you can verify all the marketing claims and that it is not forced to keep logs of its users by the government. I could go on and out but to make it easier TLDR: dVPNS are logless and allow any household to monetize their unused bandwidth effectively making any home to exit server for the vpn

cosmos developer sdk is amazing for devs, and most other scaling solutions are as clunky or worse then tendermint and come with multiple tradeoffs. also with orizontal scaling low throughput doesn't matter, (which is anyway between 100 and 1000 txn second depending on number of validators and implementation) as you can see there are around 89 projects building on cosmos so developers must find it quite usefull forum.cosmos.network/t/list-of-projects-in-cosmos-tendermint-ecosystem/243
