this looks like a good recipe for it. Bear in mind it's one of those dishes that have a thousand different recipes. Mexican and south american food is dope as fuck and you should give it a try if you have the chance. As a former line cook, i have a lot of respect for the sauces they make down there. There is incredible variety.
If you want to give south and central american food a try, look for an arepa joint. It's a sort of biscuit they make using the nixtamilized masa corn flour that is used for making corn tacos and tamales.

Took some pine nuts, roasted them in a pan, put them in a blender together with chopped fresh basil, garlic, oil, salt and freshly grated parmesan, blitz into a paste, cooked some whole-grain spaghetthi and combined both when spagoot was al-dente. Very tasty pesto pasta was had.
